How is the work situation? I was thinking about your situation today, and do you think its possible that your boss/friend actively got pregnant as she knew that you were trying, and that if you got pg, then she wouldn't be able to get pg for at least another year to cover you and the other girl. Just a thought, or am i being too suspicious :rolleyes: Anyway, you keep going - they can get temp staff to cover maternity leave anyway.

Congrats on the high catch - you're becoming a pro . It will be nice to get lots of BFPs on here in time for Christmas.

Yep ewcm (egg white cervical mucus) is a sign of impending ovulation. Its the best medium for sperm to swim in. If you find you don't get much, up your fluid intake, you can't make mucus if you're dehydrated! If you don't get ewcm, it doesn't mean you're not ov or that you can't get pg, some women just get "watery" mucus and never ewcm, sometimes that's just how it goes. Good luck!

I pay for the VIP FF (though I think you can get a similar service for free from MyMonthlyCycles but I've not used that so can't pass comment!) I use my Paypal survey money to pay for my VIP thing, 3 surveys = 90 days, pretty :money: in my book seeing as how I temp, chart my cm and cervix position and am [STRIKE]a total and utter geek can't you tell[/STRIKE] looking for my patterns of ovulation to help me conceive.

Twinklie - anytime you wanna rant, you know where I am lovey It will be hard adjusting to OH being away but the others are right, you can busy yourself with work in the week and enjoy him all the more at weekends

On my own ttc front, we (OH and I) went to chat to the GP about my progesterone test results as I was concerned they were a bit low. She said she'd double checked with the lab - as results can differ between labs - and she's happy I'm well into the range for ov, so I do work :j well, I ov, which is most reassuring. She also gave us the pot and form for OH's, errm, "sample" and said we should get it done when we feel ready. So OH and I have decided to wait and see what the rest of the year brings us and if not he can knock one off in the pot and we'll take it from there

Thanks ladies...I'm feeling mucho better now. It's funny I'm moaning how much I'm going to miss him and we are both sat here on the sofa with our laptops on our knees not talking to each other! :rotfl:

I know you guys are right, it'll be fine. I'm just being soft. Part of me is looking forward to it as well in a weird sort of way! Bah!

Woke up early again on my week off but then i need the car so had to take OH to work!
I'm going to baby group today with my friend, her daugther is 1 and half years. Thought id go only so i could see what its like when i eventfully have a baby!!
What have people got planned for today?anything excititng?

Katy can you do that, just go see the midwife first? I thought u had to see the doctor then get your little pack with all the forms?
Sammy_girl yeah the test are 'clear blue digital' Last time i was pg i did one and it said 1-2 weeks then a week later i did another and it said 2-3weeks! OH toke a picture of it but cant bring myself to delete it!

awww my poor dog is biting his paw:-(

Good Morning All,

Well I'm at work now. Couldn't get up this morning - it was so warm and cosy in bed. Even my dog didn't even get out of his bed to bark at the milkman

Laura - Have you taken him to the vet to rule anything else out? Maybe its a comfort thing . Have fun at the baby group

GTS - How exciting!! I don't think I could hold on till the weekend! Let us know how you get on.

Morning everyone - aren't the trees looking amazing at the moment - really lifts my spirits on the way into work....!

Still no AF here, so I'm going to test tomorrow - that'll be CD42 I think....

Sammy_Girl - I saw you mentioned that you didn't know about the digital test which tell you how many weeks pregnant you are. Not sure if you know this, but they are slightly confusing as they actually tell you how many weeks since conception, which is usually about two weeks less than the number of weeks that the doc/midwife will talk about. The doc/midwife count from the first day of your last period. So if the digital test says "2-3 weeks", then you'd in fact be 4 to 5 weeks pregnant, even though you spend the first two weeks not, IYSWIM...!

sexki11en - realised I never replied to your post about your boss - I know she's your friend, and probably overreacting, but as others have said, it's well out of order, and I'm glad you're not letting it change your plans. I was shocked to see that you were asked about your plans for a family at interview though - isn't that totally illegal? (It may not be if they asked all candidates, including male interviewees, the same question, but I still think they'd be on dodgy ground.) I hope that if I had ever been asked that, I would have politely and calmly told them to mind their own business, which would not have jeopardised my chance of the job... but I somehow think that the more likely situation would have been that I would have blushed and blurted out some waffle and blown my chances totally....!

Astro_k when i went for my first scan when i mc and they saw the sac and they said that i might not as far gone as what the doctors say, as at the point i was 7weeks(first day off my last period) i said to them that i did the clear blue test and they said that they hate them as they are wrong to what the doctor/midwifesay and that they are too expensive!

im on day 14 po i ov 12 or 13th of oct (i think) ive been feeling sicky for the last few days, spotting stopped after 4 days ive never had this before!!!!! now im ss like mad, what a bad girl i am:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
gonna test on friday if i can hold out that long and obviously if the evil witch dont get me first
