Skintscotlass that makes perfect sense, do it when you have support for either outcome. If AF is still not here Thurs then it's looking good as well. Just try and keep cool and relax till Thurs ... and let us know what happens of course. Fingers crossed for you.

skintscotslass - sounds very promising keeping my fingers crossed for you, can understand where your coming from if your wanting OH with you, your stronger than me I would have tested by now lol

Lauralou - hope work gets a little easier for you tomorrow x

I don't know what CD for the first time since I cant remember, knowing I have not OV I have given up this month :o

I really hoped for a summer baby as I like summer for a little girl, but I dont want to wait until this time next year to get pg :p

    Hi ladies

skintscotslass: I think you're doing the right thing by waiting, easier for me to say though sat here at a laptop!. If you can be patient then wait until Thursday. It's only 3 more get ups afterall! Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Twinklie: hope you're feeling better now over your friend's comments. I'm sure you've mentioned it before but whereabouts in N wales is your OH going??? Are you planning on going down every weekend??? Hopefully you get all the stuff you needed to sort done quickly and painlessly.

Katy; I'm so tempted to do the test where it tells you how PG you are, even though I already know!

I must admit to being petrified right now; I just want everything to be ok and every twinge is making me nervous. The control freak inside of me is not liking the uncertainty. I just have to be patient and accept that what will be will be.

I dont watch enders so no idea who gorge is!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is ok and that the general level of PMA is fair to middling.

    Love to you all

    Ellie
  • I found this great site for those of you who have got your BFPs, so you can work out your weeks :)

    http://www.cowandgate.co.uk/pregnancy/Calendar_week_by_week

And instead of POAS, I worked out my 'due' date on the site :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:How funny is this...it is my Mum and Dad's 45th wedding anniversary, 3 July 10.

Hi Lauralou no, I haven't been to drs yet. Last time I fell PG I miscarried at 10 weeks and so am a bit nervous about it this time round. We have been trying for almost a year in total.

Last time I went to the Drs and had an appointment with a Dr I never met before (due to moving house) and she was really awful (oh I am exaggerating). I went on my own and she said: "what can i do for you?"
    I said: "I'm pregnant"
She said: "Oh. And is that what you want?"
I said: "Yes - I've done three tests so I'm pretty sure I am."
She said: "right then. No need for us to do a test. make an appointment with the midwife."
and that was it. Maybe it didn't help that I went on my own? I was quite gutted as I thought she might be a bit nicer about it and so this time I am just going to ring straight to the midwife and make an appointment.

So I will probably ring them next week and go through all the paperwork again! Oh - and you get weighed too ;-( oh-oh. I'm not looking forward to that bit!!
  • I'm on CD33, POAS and still nothing. Got sore boobs though so maybe AF is on her way late :(

    Evening All.

Huge congrats Katy :j I'm such a newbie - never knew you could get a test that says how many weeks you are - how exciting!!

Nic - How com you know you're not OV this month? Is it the sticks? I love the name Summer too - it's lovely :)

TMI Alert - The egg white stuff - is that a sign that i am ov? Managed to grab an hour between the time I got in from work and DH went to work - so squeezed a bit of BD in :o Took DH by surprise I think! Think I made a bit of an error about telling him all the technical stuff like CD and OV etc - totally tok the romance out of it so I won't be doing that again!

Hope you're all having a good evening. Congrats to all the BFPs, good luck to all the POAS and lots of BD'ing to all :D Oooh, get me - learning all the lingo lol

Oh and Twinklie - Everything will be great with your OH. When DH and I met 7 years ago we lived 200 miles apart for the first year and we spent every single weekend taking it in turns to visit each other. It meant a lot of quality time together and we always appreciated the time that we had. We often reminisce about those times - not like our boring routine now lol

Ditto when me and DH met. 150 miles between us. Mondays were just awful but Tuesday it was a bit easier, Wednesday was nearly the weekend and Thursday I would see him tomorrow! We sometimes miss it too, although we love living together, it was an emotional rollercoaster and not all bad. There'll be PLENTY of BD'ing when you do meet up ;) (whether it's for the purpose of TTC or not) my moneys on the fact that you won't be able to keep your hands off each other and will spend whole weekends in bed or was that just us? :D

Well, I have 11 days till AF is due (or not with any luck) FF is telling me our chances of having "caught are "high" (out of low, good and high) Speaking of FF, does anyone pay for the VIP membership as I'm finding it really helpful and my free trial runs out on 30th of Nov
