Thats good news Ali. At least you know whats going on now...and that you won't need any further prodding or poking. Fingers crossed the bleeding stops sooner rather than later though.

Does anybody know how long the pregnancy hormone stay in your body after a mc, i dont know why but i got a couple of pregnancy tests today and did one and there was a faint line!im silly i know!!0
-
Hi Lauralou - I'm not sure if there's a definite answer to this, as everyone's body is different and will respond in a different way. I know the mw at the hospital asked me to take a test about two and a half weeks after my mc, as if it showed up negative, there was no need to go in for a follow-up scan. If it had come up positive, then that can be a sign of something still being left inside, but I don't want to scare you, as it may just be that your hormones haven't quite got back to normal levels yet. How long ago was it? I'm afraid I can't remember whether you had an ERPC or it happened naturally. I think your hormones can settle more quickly with the latter, but that might just mean that they're less up-and-down, rather than really getting back to non-pg levels. Does this make sense?
Or do you think there's a possibility that you may be pregnant again?
Big hugs to everyone that needs them. And I'm very pleased for you Ali that your scan all came up fine - it would just be so awful to have gone through all that, only to have to have the op as well....0 -

Evening all
Quick question - I think I am 2 days late. Is it too early to test?0 -
Lauralou - I tested every few days after MC earlier this year to see when the hormone left my body and mine was still postitive for at least 3 weeks after the MC. Everyone is different though.
Skintscotlass - you can test now! GL :T
Hope everyone's OK - I 've got some really sore boobs and did a Clear Blue digi this morning (following the positive on a First Response on Fri). I had the CB one from a two pack and really just wanted to see what it would say! It did an egg timer for a bit, then said Pregnant then I waited a minute (felt like ages) and it said 2-3 weeks.
See, the POAS never ends!!!
Love to you all

I can't! I'm too nervous...have just had a chat with OH on the phone. I'm waiting til Thursday as he's not back til then. I dont want to test and then get a BFN and need a cuddle. Also, I dont want to test and get a BFP and he's 200 miles away! Does that make sense?0
