Welcome one and all.
Been to the races today and nearly slipped up on the caffeine front - we were all inclusive in a hospitality tent and when they served coffee they forgot to bring milk so I left mine but I must admit I did forget till they had poured it!! hehe. Only supped 1.5 glasses of wine through the whole day and a pimms so feel that's OK as it was free.
On a MSE front, we won back what we spent on bets so I'm OK on that front too.
Kat the poundland cheapies (2 for a pound) have worked for me in the past when I got my BFP but unfortunately MC at 10 weeks and it took 4 weeks for them to go back to BFNs so I'd say they do work just as well. My theory is to do cheapies till you get your BFP then get a 'spensive digi one to confirm etc. You will save a fortune following this theory but it is easy to crack when AF is late lol!
GL to all having interviews etc. don't worry about ttc you can cross that bridge when you come to it (says the one starting a masters next month!!), as long as it's doing something you enjoy eh CAFC ?
Right off to entice OH to some prime time BD-ing - wish me luck!! :j

Hi everyone,
Well, back in the 2ww. I am 8DPO now and have been waiting for any signs of implantation. I had mild cramps, bit like AF but not quite same spot yesterday and today while I was sitting at my desk I had the strangest feeling...it felt like a wave of heat/tingly sensation (perhaps adrenalin rush), came over my body and up my arms. It was ever so strange. I guess I don't feel right today, not ill, just different, weird, if that makes sense.
I felt a little bit dizzy earlier and am wondering if perhaps that feeling was due to low blood sugar.
Has anyone else felt like this during the 2ww? My temp is rising which I know is due to the rise in progesterone, so could these hormones explain me feeling like this? I can still feel it now, in my chest and arms.
Also I have had creamy cm for a few days and my skin is bad, have had a spot breakout!
Please advise!0 -
Morning all, just thought I'd pop on and say :hello: nothing to report here, on CD28 and wondering when/if af will ever show up (hope not  as it would mean I'm pg
), I suspect it may be another couple of weeks as it's not long since I stopped bleeding after mc.
I got a nice new toy on Wednesday (not that sort, you dirty lot, you should beof yourselves!!), a little netbook (small laptop to to you and me!) for £170, in theory it's my Xmas pressie, but DH liked it so much, we got one for him and one for DSD (hers is for Xmas too) as well
, it's so small I can get it in my [STRIKE]rather large[/STRIKE] bag!

BFN??? BFP??? Ok i am thinking you are talking about tests, ovulation or pregnancy tests,
well i buy some on ebay - they are just a simple stick, apparently the same as the NHS use in the surgeries. You buy a batch of about 15 for about £3, that should be including p&p. Or different combos with some preg test and some ovulation ones. She has perfect feedback and sells thousands (a proper power seller) and gives lots of info with them. Everyone seem to go back to her time and time again - i can't remember but i think she had quite a few ''thank you, we are now pregnant messages'' too so they do work. But it'll save you an awful lot.
Her name is something like baby_mad or something - i'll see if i can pop up a link.
Lol sorry if i am on a ridiculously different wavelength, hahaMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Ok i hope i am allowed to do this - i have absolutely no association with her apart from being one of her customers. Do a search through er shop though to get the lowest price option as i think some are priced a tad higher for the same thing, its only a matter of pennies though. And she posts super duper fast.
Here goes: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Babymad-Fertility-Specialists__W0QQ_armrsZ1
Hope this helps some of you ladies! xMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
I also buy them on ebay - and then used a more expensive one to confirm as well.0

Hey guys, sorry I havent been on here in a while, I am reading through to where I was up to the last time I was on lolSorry...just read that back and it sounds awful. But I honestly can't understand why people would rather burry their head in the sand. If nothing else thats one thing Jade Goody has done for us - the screening up take has shot up. Please, please go.
I am one of the culpritsI am going to start having them though once bean is born, cos it is important and I think once I have gone through labour a smear isnt going to be that bad lol
nunny - I love them too, I was going to get one, but then we decided it was best to wait till weve had our kidsSmartie12 wrote:Smears... I put mine off for years:o but my nurse convinced me to have it done. From the age of 17/18 I've been asked in for them... I'm sure back then it used to be from when you've been sexually active? My friend has had pre cancerous cells removed so thank goodness she went for her smear.
Yeah I have been asked in since I was 17/18 as well, I think it used to be from when you were sexually active?
Reading about pizza's and kebab's, I could murder a kebab lol, OH won't let me have one, doesnt that sound bad?? he just thinks they are gross lol, do you think I could fake crave one lol he might let me have one then
