  • from what I've read, I think TTC and being pregnant will always feel different once you've been thru a mc - you're always going to be more scared, pessimistic, worried etc. There are quite a few ladies on this thread who have experienced it and can understand what you are going thru.

I know where you're coming from too, I had my mc on 15 August, so totally scared of it happening again. We're over the worst of it for the moment, but the 12 weeks scan date would've been on Monday, so not sure how I'll be feeling then. As it is I can't look at my hen night/wedding pics without thinking that I was pregnant then :(
  • lildevil: ((hugs)) i found it quite hard as the last one we had a few scans due to having a blood clot near the baby (cant remember the name of it), and saw him the day before i lost him his face and everything.its hard but im just trying to concentrate on getting pregnant 1st before i start obsessing over everything which i tend to do! but on a lighter note started b'ding last night going to pounce on oh at every chance i get!! how often are you supposed to bd is it every night or everyother? ovulation stuff confuses me :)

bitzer; sounds like its all going on in your house! hope your breakdown is a quiet one; go and grab yourself a kit kat chunky; I find that they help enormously!

kayj10; sparkly floor tiles; tell me more!!!!! We're having your bathroom re tiled and I've got some glittery grout which is fab but as far as I'm concerned the more sparkles the better. I'll just make sure that OH isn't here when they get laid or else he would have a fit!

CAFC; AF has finished with me too for this month and I'm all set for the SMEP; no surrender remember. I'm rooting for you!

ELLIE- I vote we got for Team Motivation...... no matter how tired we are, we must must must find the inner desire....

... well I am now trying to give up caffeine. I have switched to caffeine free coffee and diet coke (I normally drink too much of this but am cutting down on fizzy pop). The only caffeine from now on will be in the odd cup of tea!!

Wish me luck. Shakes due any time I reckon.

Plenty of water KatyJ, try and cleanse out your system, plenty of baths ideally with some epsom salts.....

  • Katy; I haven't drunk caffeine now for ages; it's actually not too bad; the worst thing is almost falling asleep mid morning whilst sat at my desk at work!

CAFC: Team motivation it is then! So far so good; "surprised" OH today after work which he was pleased about! It wasn't the "right" time but nice to do it for fun though! I've got my ov sticks and going to start on Monday; beginning to think that the next few months are going to be spent POAS of some description! fun

Hello all! I really miss not reading this thread every day! Not had too much to catch up on though which makes it a little easier.

Twinklie - back to school - hope it's going ok for you so far. And how about that concrete floor??;)

CAFC - good for you making that decision about your job, it sounds like the stress was affecting you physically so you've done the right thing I'm sure.

Janninne - I'm obviously 2 days too late but I immediately thought "water infection" having a lot of experience in that area - hopefully it's clearing now but my tip is to drink LOTS of water - as much as you can stomach which will help to flush it out. Also bicarb of soda in a glass of water works wonders even though it tastes foul.

Katyj - good luck! I still have caffeine tea though at home I mainly drink decaf.

Scotsgirl - hope you got to sleep eventually! I sleep very lightly and would have struggled with that too.

Jacobsmum - I know how you feel about the mc affecting your feelings re ttc. I really want my BFP but I'm also slightly nervous about it. Re how often to bd - it seems people try different ways, but every other day is a good bet and helps keep his swimmers fresh - if you have an idea when you ovulate then step it up to once a day around then.

Sorry if I've missed anyone, it's nothing personal:p

So as for me, I'm CD25 and (I think) 14dpo. So when I'm left on my own I have my obsessive thoughts to contend with, fortunately I've had lots to keep me distracted lately, and I'm also trying to keep my head level to avoid (as much as possible) those dratted raised hopes. I'm still temping which I'm enjoying as it's all new and novel!:D My temp is still high which I think is a good thing - it keeps going up and down, so with every down I wonder if it's on the way down to AF but so far it's bounced back up again so fingers crossed please (quietly though - no raising of hopes remember:D:D).

(((Hugs))) to anyone who wants them, sticky baby dust to you all (including any lurkers). XXXXXXXXXX
