My AF disappeared this morning too! So onwards and upwards when we can be bothered to....
  • Good morning ladies - i know that i'm the only one awake here at this time in the morning but i had to tell someone...
AF has finally arrived following our mmc on the 3rd August....I'm so relieved & I've just realised that for the first time in weeks I actually feel like a human being...
I've never been so happy to see her and can't wait to start our ttc journey again, with everything crossed (well not quiet everything )

I'm glad to hear that things are starting to sort themselves out kamperkat, it must be a real relief. Onwards and upwards. hugs
  • Hi all, good news on AF going/arriving all round for people :)

Its CD12 here, 3rd day of high on cbfm and to be honest ttc is the last thing on my mind, as well as the car having its repairs, service and MOT (£500) the fridgefreezer packing up (£380) our new doors arriving (£800) having them fitted (£270) and the flipping furniture for the doors (£360), we were having kittens about all our savings going (even though this is what we'd been saving for, bar the fridgefreezer) Now it appears we have a leak by the stopcock, so we have to get the kitchen units off and out...and all is decidedly not well in the house of Bitzer. OH is having a nervous breakdown and I'm trying to be the strong one (translated = I'll go to work and have a breakdown there where OH can't see me..)

It never rains but it pours (or rather it drips down the back of your kitchen units..)

Oh bitzer, that sounds bad. We've just rehauled our kitchen and it looks gorgeous now but we spent more than £4k just on tiles and fitting them (floor and walls and did hall, downstairs cloak, under the stairs and utility room as well as kitchen so it's not as bad as it sounds!!) and I know what you mean about feeling gutted that all the hard saved money feels frittered away!

Thing is the floor ones are sparkly and girly and every time I look at them I think, oh I love them so it was worth it in the end.

Grin and bear it, and enjoy your new fridge freezer! Car fixing money is also pants but a necessary evil. I need two new tyres but keep putting it off. naughty.

  • Aw bitzer that sucks! I'm sure it will all look lovely when it's finished though. I hate doing stuff in the house, only because however much I budget it always turns out to be too little.

And yes, I'm posting from holiday.....it's 3am. and I'm wide awake cos OH is insisting that the air con has to be on, which means that noise wise I'm sharing a room with a hairdryer! argh!
  • hiya hope everyones ok?! on cd 8 of my 1st cycle after having my implant removed n feel hopefull (for now!) ds back at school today!!!!! but last night he turned and said to me 'i wish my brother didnt die' as he knows about the last baby we lost and it has spurred me on i suppose about trying,as i was a bit unsure as dont want to go through the heartache again of m/c anyone else feel this way? so scared about it all

  • I completely understand Jacobsmum - I had an MC last month and am absolutely terrified of it happening again. Only you can decide when you feel ready to start again.

    Good luck with ttc x
  • bitzer; sounds like its all going on in your house! hope your breakdown is a quiet one; go and grab yourself a kit kat chunky; I find that they help enormously!

kayj10; sparkly floor tiles; tell me more!!!!! We're having your bathroom re tiled and I've got some glittery grout which is fab but as far as I'm concerned the more sparkles the better. I'll just make sure that OH isn't here when they get laid or else he would have a fit!

CAFC; AF has finished with me too for this month and I'm all set for the SMEP; no surrender remember. I'm rooting for you!
