Do you not take folic acid/prenatal anyway? I just add to my collection of pills! Either that or stick it by your toothbrush with a glass...

You just reminded me that I forgot to take my folic acid for TWO nights! OMG! I'm so naughty.

Hi all, hope at least some of you are still on here to read this and you haven't all deserted!

So I'm sorry I've been absent for a few days - lots of sucking up to do as you can well imagine! A bit more harmonious in our house now, but still room for improvement

Scotsgirl - hope you're doing OK and have good news soon, x

Twinklie, how on earth did you cope without a toilet back then?! It would have driven me from my home to find shelter, I'm really that attached to my loo!

CAFCGirl, hugs to you from me - hope you feel better soon and your PMA returns - so many of us have been in your shoes and really do understand. Stay strong hun, x

Polkadot - where are you? Hope you're having fun!

Natalie6999, I agree we really need to stick together!

I would never begrudge anybody a child or further siblings, but sometimes I will admit to being mightily jealous - but tell myself that is just human nature and try very, very hard not to show it!

Becs, Leopardlady, Smartie and Nunny - sounds like some of us have had a rough few days. As I am unable to think of anything else, I will say what I always say to myself in these situations! Although I like to chat to people on forums, I don't actually know them and therefore can not expect those I meet online to treat me the same way my RL friends do.

Imagine that we are all sitting around a virtual table in the pub having a drink, but strangers can join and leave as they wish and those people we are used to can have had a bad day but we are none the wiser as to why their tone or mood of chat has changed - we can't read their faces or body language - the stark words on the screen can sometimes be read in so many different ways.

I'm really sorry I've missed being here to fight the fires with you all, but please don't leave me on MSE on my own! I'm sad and lonely enough as it is.

Huge (((hugs))) to all in need out there - lurking or otherwise, xx

Awww MadMac we won't leave you alone! Although I am in back to work hell so my visits might be a bit sparce for a while! I'll try my best though. Even if I don't comment I will always have a read.

Right need to go and wash up so I can get the batched cooking going! Phew! Need to crack on!

  • Yes I'm back at work tomorrow, after having 8 weeks off.

I had hoped that the weather would be better to go back but it seems to be raining again.

I agree with everything that Madmac has said, some people pass through, some become part of the furniture, just like in a doctors waiting room some will want to discuss their symptoms & some will just sit quietly listening, just passing the odd comment until it's their turn. We are all different & we all approach TTC differently.

Yeah I am taking folic and a multi vit as well but im just as likely to forgot those as well....

DH asked if he could "impregnate me" earlier LOL who said romance was dead in the journey to TTC!!!!!
Had to let him down gently that it wouldnt stand a chance of making babies tonight and he seemed really disappointed, which is just really sweet....

I've also only got 3 weeks left of work. I handed in my notice last week after deciding that it was just too much stress, and after some bullying by my employer (and the shocking coincidence that since being there I have ovulated later in my cycle and had really irregular cycles), i really feel like a weight has been lifted, plus it also means i'll actually get to see DH and get some quality bd-ing!!!

  • Thanks for the sympathy for the AF show. I'm always looking on the bright side and seeing as I'm going through the trauma of selling my house at the mo I've told myself that it might be good to wait another month or so!

I've also got a works night out this Friday so at least it means I can have a drink. I never normally drink as I'm usually driving and I also can't cope with the hangovers any more!

I've been really really good on the folic acid, normally I'm rubbish at taking multi vits but I have really stuck it out and am quite proud of myself for being such a good girl.

Didn't manage to get out today as busy decorating but am off tomorrow and Tuesday so will nip into town then and then operation baby making will start with a vengeance.

Enjoy the rest of the evening; back to the painting for me whilst we still have some light.

    Hi Ladies
I'm hoping you can help me or give me your experiences on this.

I have been on the depot injection for the past 2 years, I came off it in April this year and have been trying to get pregnant. I have not had a period yet and have been having plenty of sex! I have heard some worrying things about the depot injection and i'm alittle worried about this and how long it will take me to conceive. Also my OH works away so we only see each other twice a week, but we do practice alot when he's here!

Since last week i've been having some strange feelings in my tummy (not period type pains, just odd feelings!) and I've been suffering with my bladder. I constantly feel like I need a wee, yet when I go, I only need a little tinkle! Sorry for the graphic content, but i'm interested in any thoughts/opinions about what is wrong and what can I do to speed things up as I'm quite desperate for a baby.

Any stories/advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks
    Janninew x

P.S I have posted this on the Arms thread but was advised to try here instead. I hope you don't mind me posting as I haven't been trying for as long as most of you, but i'm just after some general advice.

Janninew, I would suggest you get to a GP and get yourself checked for a bladder infection too. I know this is a bit TMI, but I never get "typical" cystitis - with the stinging when you pee - I get a constantly-feel-like-my-bladder's-not-empty feeling and no other symptoms. Its perfectly possible you're pg, but I would pee in a pot and get it to your GP just to be on the safe side.

Morning to everyone else :) Its manic at work and I've not been here that long either. Oh dear.

Madmac I think that's a really good way to look at this thread, same as you Natalie6999.

Hope you all have a good day - those back to school included!
    xx
