I know its hard CAFC, especially if AF is being a total cowbag, but every day that passes you got closer to ov and another chance to try. Hold that thought and be strong xx

Edit to add: that was kinda my thought too ellie-hoping sod's law would play in my favour. Instead I got a great new hobby and it very much gives you a workout which is a bonus :) Not sure what The Chill Factor prices are but I paid £150 for 6 hours to get me to "recreational standard" i.e. I can go on the big slope and not be a danger to others! I did it in 2x3hour blocks, but have to say I've also had a 1 hour refresher because I had a technical issue I needed to work through. Next time though I'm gonna bite the bullet and go play with the grown ups... It is pricey to learn, but once you've learned the recreational slope prices are much cheaper.

All this talk of snowboarding is making me jealous; I've wanted to try it for years but keep putting it off for one reason or another. I'm determined to give it a bash though; I live near the Trafford Centre and there is a snow place thingy near there; is that anywhere near to you bitzer and twinklie?????

Hey ellie yeah we go to that one or the one at Leeds. Although tbh I've not been since May. I get a bit bored when I go because it's just one slope...I like to explore! But they are excellent for a refresher or learning! Soooo much fun! DO IT!

  • Bonjour tout les femmes! Its CD9 here, cbfm says low, but I'm feeling pretty randomly hormonal - in a good way though! Just had our new front and back doors delivered so we're off to get weatherbars, weatherstrips, letterbox and pick up our locks before I spend my afternoon priming the b*ggers! Luckily it looks dry here so shouldn't be too problematic (probably jinxed it now!)

twinklie - have fun with your concrete floor (that was today wasn't it?) And the rest of you I hope you're having a good day/better day/lots of fun as appropriate!

Morning ladies. Don't think any concreting will be done at mine today looking at the weather. Boo. However, I shall still be batched cooking and getting food ready for the week! Woo hoo! I will be a domestic Goddess on the last weekend of the holidays.

    Going to the hairdressers instead.
