I can't believe how hard I'm finding booking this weekend way. If I was booking a holiday holiday it would be easy. But I want him to feel spoilt but I've never done an indulgent weekend before! I'm lost! Ha ha

Incidentally, cbfm still not here yet....boo.

They only have room 2 available. It's £80 per night. There's was the least chatty informative email. Others say loads more but then...they also cost more! The website implies it's much cheaper than it actually is I've just realised.
    Typical:rolleyes:

    Anytime this week!! Boo.

Plan is to go on Friday 4th December after work and leave on 6th December. Defo want breakfast as well! Or I'll cry! Ha ha. I am willing to pay - but just want to make sure I'm getting a good deal. Not too fussed where it is in the lakes tbh! As long as we can get there from Lancaster relatively easy (thats where I'll be picking OH up from cos he works there). Might have tea in Lancs and drive up if it's a bit further away just to make sure we get fed! Just want it to be romantic with a pretty room that looks expensive! Ha ha

    Good girl! Fingers crossed smartie.

If it wasn't his 40th and everyone constantly letting him down and being horrible I wouldn't bother. But...I figure it's my job to make him feel special. Plus, he might then one day return the favour!! Or am I asking too much?
