    Nicki, bring the appointment forward.

No idea what to suggest, life gets in the way doesn't it? Would you feel better with an elective? That way it could be arranged for your own consultant to do it and minimise your time in the labour ward (you can go straight from the inpatient ward to theatre). May make you feel more in control.

Do you want to stand in the ward and face your fears? Some people find it helps and some people really don't.

I know a lady who is coming whose only daughter is 4 (5 in December)! Not sure if she is still feeding (hope not TBH ) but I think that she is just supporting the cause!

Come along! Just treat it like another mom and baby group - best thing is you ALWAYS have something to talk about (babies/children) and you always have baby/child to occupy you if it goes a bit quiet!!

    Edit - bring a mate along! Doesn't need to be a BF'er!

    Hiya Fitzio!

Whilst I am here I will poke my nose in! I bought tons of bedding for Benjamins cotbed but we don't use any of it!! All we use is fitted sheets and possibly the occasional blanket but very rarely.

Benjamin sleeps in sleeping bags (google Grobags for the expensive ones but you can get them at Tesco/Sainsburys/Primark etc) so no need for blankets (which he only kicks off anyway!).

So, if you think you are likely to use sleeping bags (they are an absolute godsend - no need to worry about him getting cold) then you may not need to buy many blankets at all.

    HTH

    MFD xxx
FYI - baby sleeping bags are 1/2 price in tesco as they're selling off the winter stuff ;)

breast feeding doesn't make your boobies sag, pregnancy does!
So no matter how you feed your baby if they're gonna go south they will

    sorry :o

although at least when you're feeding you get big perky ones when they're full, my hubby likes to have a good ol' look 1st thing in the morning before I feed Ed :p
