As after me and oh went there Saturday night and had the most awful Lamb burgers in which they put raisins. Which it did not state on the menu i sent them an e-mail and they just said sorry and we shall now be putting it on the menu and please have £30.00 of vouchers. Also Suzy from last thread no i have not had a dream about anyone that famous apart from Calvin from Hollyoaks as i said, which is strange because i ve not watched hollyoaks in years, However i must admit it was quite a nice dream
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
Glam I agree with Aless if you change employer you dont work for them so you wont get the leave, only what your entitled to until you leave.
I would think that as your new employer is paying your smp you are employed by them so your acruing leave there.
If like me your holidays run from april to march youd get 7 months of leave there. I would think It depends when there holidays run if you could take them before you start or not.0 -

I like Elasti's idea of a fair offer policy - will def use that in future.
When picking up it can be a bit of any eye opener. have collected stuff from places that were frankly squalid and unfit for human habitation. can be quite upsetting when there are kids running round. also gives me major middle class guilt about the conditions some ppl are living in. I do give a lot more than I take (prob 3 or 4 times as much stuff) but still, it can be hard.
we have a 'swap shop' yahoo group in our county, which is quite a good supplement to freecycle - maybe other areas have something similar. Got to be under a certain amount. Have bought and sold a fair bit on there - there always seems to be a lot of baby stuff going which I guess keeps prices reasonable.MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Glam - I'm running off now but can you PM with the answer to this? xxx
Does the NHS have a blanket rule with regards to who is entitled to the free flu jab? if so does having had double pneumonia and/or DVT mean you are entittled? (asking for my daddy who is also over 50 if that matters) also same Qu goes for swine flu jab if that's been decided yet?
Hope you are coping with the GD ok? xxx
TIA :kisses3:0 -
well after tia saying about the hay fever thing from lloyds sent oh off this morning for it before he go's to fix car , didnt think about batterys as i have aa and aaa ones here and what does it take the square 9v thingy aarrghh lol
Forgot all about the battery, DH bought it for me and he is awfully clever about looking to see what batteries things take and buying them.
Lots of weird dreams! In mine I just casually put the baby down next to an open fire or a cliff or in a freeezing room on the floor and wander off to have casual sex with some random guy (but never get to finish:mad:). Either that or I am really beating one of the boys with a hammer or something and all the while they are just laughing at me!
Guess what? I'm still here! Everything settled down about 1am. Fell asleep and then woke up at 2am when DH was getting his clothes out his drawer, had to tell him it's only 2am (he is up at 5am on his day shift week which this is). My hips were agony and I eventually fell back asleep, woke back up at 4am and DH was gone. Got up and heard him downstairs so called him back up. He had looked at the clock and thought he was later, got dressed, started the car and looked at the time to call his boss and realised it was just turning 4am! So he didn't get much sleep either last night and now he is out driving a bloody bus. He needs a day off, been working 6 days to get extra pennies but is so stubborn he will keep doing it till he gets his paternity leave.
Growth scan and day care today at 2.30pm and I can tell them about my false alarm yesterday, might ask them to swab me for infection.0 -
but ml - don't feel too guilty as if they are offering stuff on Freecycle, it can't be that bad??top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

DS2 got the flu jab this year (or last) because he had pneumonia and recurrent chest infections if that helps. He can ask his GP and even pay for it himself (my FIL pays for it himself but gets it at the GP surgery).0 -

It's actually my old employer paying my SMP because I am changing employer after I start my Mat Leave - by law they have to pay it.
You can change employer whilst on Mat Leave and still get SMP as long as you change BEFORE the baby is born. If it's after birth you don't get anything!
Sami - I will PM you now!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
