Your doctors sounds as incompetent as mine, bet they don't have to wait all day for their results to be checked to get a prescription.

[STRIKE]In their defence [/STRIKE]- hang on, finishing tomorrow so no need to defend GP's anymore especially as I'm not going to work with them again!!!!

Harley - Are you meaning Suzy or have I missed some news on Glam?!

    Just quickly catching up:

Aless - Hope you have a safe flight tomorrow and a nice birthday on Sunday.

Suzy - Labour vibes to you. If you are more relaxed then sounds like you are doing the right thing.

Glam - Hope your last day goes well tomorrow. I suppose it's different for you as it really is your last day in that job! Take it easy and enjoy your lunch.

Welcome to all the newbies from the past few days.
Congrats to those who had successful scans.

God, sorry ladies. Glam, I'm surprised that didn't scare you into labour.

I did mean Suzy and have gone back and changed my post accordingly so as not to cause any further confusion.

I can only blame the fact that I was enjoying a selection of seriously reduced cream cakes and chilled sweet goodies from Mr T.

I'll try not to scare you in future. :o

  • Hi everyone,
I thought it was time I stopped lurking. I think I'm only just pregnant at the moment, about 5 weeks. I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow to confirm.
I'll be 33 next month and this will be my second baby, my first will be 4 years old in October.
I'm really excited as we've been trying for about 6 months and I'm finding it really hard not to tell everyone, but at the same time I'm a bit worried about the risks of it being so early.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

    Hi Red, and congrats.

I understand completely, I never told anyone except my parents until I was 12 weeks. Then only the important people like best mate, family and colleagues. I left the rest to find out when it became obvious.

I never really felt comfortable telling people as I know so many people that have had problems so I left it as late as I could 'just to be on the safe side'.

At least now you have told us, so you have had the pleasure of sharing without actually telling anyone you know.

Hope goes well with doc tomorrow.
