They do sweeties to chick ;-)
I dont have the problem of people being able to see in my house living and kitchen are on the 1st floor its quite funny though if im in my bedroom on the second floor i can see straight into everyone elses bedroom in the street as the houses over the road are only two storeys. Not that i stand there gawping but boy have i caught a glimpse of some sights and not very pleasant ones at that ewwwwwwwwww:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Sarah, Lolly, I think it's human nature to have a quick look, and my neighbour next door waves everytime he pulls out of his driveway. And I don't mind that too much. It's the strangers, or the freak, who annoy me. They don't try to hide it, and have a good gawp at whatever I might have in here. The freak, has stopped by for a chat on many occasions, invited himself along (or tried to) on days out I've had with friends, stands on the door step or stops me cutting the grass to tell me what the weather was doing on this day for the last however many years, and what he eats (he's vegan/veggie/ whatever - seems to live on lentils and fresh air), I'm wrong to have a tv, what do I need a car for, I'm (was) stupid to smoke (ok, he might have had a point on that one but it was my choice), god I could - and have - go on forever.
Anyway, once my lovely blinds are in tomorrow he won't even know if I am home or not so I can feel confident that next time he rings the door bell 4 times whilst I'm hiding behind the door, he won't have already seen me and know I'm ignoring him.
Glam - dont boots do some diabetic hard boiled and chewy sweets. Seem to remember seeing some in the past. Might be cheaper than a website where you'd have to pay delivery.

anyways i thought we could use my clubcard points to maybe get a better quality ring so i checked out what was available. Clubcard only deal with gold smiths now the ring i have seen is £240 from the high street. So with my £120 in vouchers i thought i would be able to get something in maybe 18ct in stead of 9ct. Boy was i wrong the same ring i goldsmiths 9ct white gold with 0.50ct of diamonds is £800 OUCH!!!:eek::eek:
My fiance proposed on Monday (I accepted)!! :j
I'm elated and the ring is lovely but I feel he over paid for it cos he got it from Goldsmiths (no vouchers or anything). He's willing to go to Hatton Gardens on saturday though he went already and said he didnt find anything he liked and he didnt trust them making a ring and would like to simply see what he was paying for instead of ordering and hoping it comes out right..
Is the mark up at Goldsmiths that high? We're going to the states in Nov and I wonder whether to get it from there, or go to Italy?? My Dad is going to Dubai in Nov and I'm wondering whether to source it from there, but I think my finace will like us to pick it together.
Thanks for your help.0 -

My plan is to go to Peacocks this weekend or next week, get my nighties and sensible PJ's, dressing gown and then get my mat knickers and breast pads from ASDA. Then go somewhere to get a nice little suitcase for my stuff.
I plan to have a labour bag, post delivery bag (which will stay in car and can then be swapped with labour bag) and baby bag.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
