Skinty, did she at least have some notion of dating when she made up your EDD? It seems so random to just make up a LMP date when that determines the EDD.

No, not as far as I could tell! Not sure what she put as my LMP now - I stopped bleeding from the mc on October 17 but I'm not sure if that date gives me an EDD of July 24?

In that case it seems even weirder that they'd give you so much upset about your neat little bump - their dates could easily have been a couple of weeks out and you'd have needed the scan at the very end to figure out why the little one wasn't budging!

17th October gives an EDD of 24th July according to babycenter.com.

How are you doing? Any twinges? I've had zilch so think I'm going to go at least a few more days.

I am 3/5 engaged though...

I had a terrible night last night with back aches and pressing pains, thought something was happening until i had a bath this morning and the twinges stopped. Have an unbearable pain down below as if baby is going to pop out if you know what i mean LOL. I haven't even seen a midwife for over a month so no idea if he's engaged yet :eek: I went 10 days over with my 1st 2, and 5 days over with my 3rd so have a feeling this one will be late too

Well DH told me off for cleaning, then dragged me out to sit in the car while he did a cash and carry run. Now he wants dinner but I can't be bothered... Nesting has gone now.

I need to wash the newborn sleepsuits and vests and swap the tiny baby stuff (seeing as she is a wee 6lb porker!)

im determind ive planned my meals for the spreedsheet for the next 6 every last penny is acounted for and if i stick to it then over my debt will be gone by the 1st of december which is spuring me on and coz i cant buy crap its doing wonders helping shift the baby weight x

I've been baking all day but for other people (I have a sideline of baking cupcakes to compliment my day job as an administrator!) and I was glad to be finished but now I want to go and make some of those!! :drool:

Scans are the most accurate as long as you have them before 12 weeks ish as all babies grow at the same rate up until this point. (or so i read)

It'll come when it comes !

I just go with the flow normally ...this time though i just want her here

Yeah, babies don't come 'on time' so any time in the next couple of weeks really. Just beginning to get fed up of being pregnant now so I'd quite like it to get going!
