Lou – Thankyou – Good luck with the scan , how exciting for you seeing your LO again!
Glam – Nice neat bump .and thankyou massively for the vibes! It’s nice to know people are thinking of me
SJ – Good luck with your scan too!

Re flat sheets- I’ve never used them and on baby 5. Not sure if others do but I didn’t find them necessary and they are not something I use on my own bed but i know others do.

Nanc _ I never had antenatal classes. Had my first child at 20 and I had never held a baby before. I tend to read a lot so maybe that worked for me so I didn’t feel I needed any classes

Meeeee - blooming fed up now- Im sick of being tanned, preened and shaved for this baby - I wanna go back to hairy legged, pale woman again and chill out arrghh. No really feeling ok, dinners prepared for tonight, curling my hair as i speak..write, doing nails (again) later, im fully prepared...just waiting now for this baby!! Having another sweep today not sure what its going to do as OH been having a feel too and now decided he wants to be a Gynochologist as he thinks he's good at it....yeah right sweetie !

Induction booked for Friday if not before then but its REALLY not what i want at all.You don't go from choosing a home birth to wanting medical intavention. I feel this date is looming over me now. I'll see how i feel at the time if I decide to go ahead with it or not.

Not looked at the list recently as its depressing to see me at the top...so if anyone else is overdue ..labour vibes to you too. Has FD had her yet ?

    Take care all.

    x
  • Hi all, just a quick update on the moses mattress situation (hope everyones not yawning now!! lol!!) I ordered the ebay £7 one in the end so I'll see how it is when it comes and how it fits once the sheets and bumper are on etc. and I'll let you know (something to look forward to eh!! haha!!)

Had a rubbish evening last nite, felt uncomfortable and bump was almost a little hurty when led in bed, so me and DH went in seperate beds for the night. Hope it improves for tonight!!

Off to walk the dogs now xx

Morning Suzy, sorry to see you are still here (in the nicest possible way :D)

And thanks, I just hope they let me have the scan! (As I had a scan at 8+ weeks so have been accurately "dated" already) Anyone suggest anything I could say to try and persuade them to let me have it if they try to refuse me?

Sorry you are still here Suzy - in the nicest possible way, obviously.

Many more, stronger labour vibes on their way to you. Little girlie is obviously not wanting to brave the big bad world just yet, but hopefully will decide it's ok before Friday.

Boo, I'm going to get the same one I think. Just waiting for the ebay person to pay her bill then I will order one. She is in the forces (the German buyer I was whinging about last week) so has now given me a BFPO address. Hope she is not taking the mickey as once it leaves here I have no cover. With any luck she will pay in the next hour and I can get this mattress ordered so that it (fingers crossed) arrives whilst I'm still off.

Oh I also managed to go for a run as well yesterday morning it was so nice, and I've been really down that I stopped a week ago because I got a stitch, but I ran for 20mins non-stop yesterday more of a fast shuffle, but felt great afterwards.. I much prefer it to swimming, plus its free very MSE.. and midwife happy I'm still going.. the Yoga dvd i got from amazon has been fab as well the breathing exercises are fab, havent used my hypnobirthing book yet but read some of it and it seems to make sense, have no fear!! (yeah right) I sound a right hippy but I'm not honest... oh silly but im 1lb away from 10stone... started at 8'8
