harley, think of it this way, if you dont take the time off before bump is here, then you will do damage to youself, wont recover as quick and wont be able to spend any quality time with bubs. Whereas - listen to your body, take the time off and be nice and relaxed for bumps arrival and have quality time together :):)

Morning all.. I have my antinatal tonight totally forgot first one is breast feeding I think so will go on my own, cant imagine hubby will enjoy that much, or maybe he will ha ha.. wish I could have afforded the nct ones, the nhs is suppose to be rubbish in my area.. Has anyone not bothered with antinatal classes?

I'm starting mine tonight - the last one will be the night before I am 38 weeks and anytime after that am due to be induced. No idea what they are covering but I am making OH come with me to all of them - he'll believe stuff if other people tell him things! He'll think I'm making things up!

Thanks SJ and MM - I was going to post them the other night but didn't like to after SJ and EA has posted theirs. :o

Wish I had a pram to add to the list! Will prolly get one next month, but the make/model depends pretty much on what's going for cheap at the car boot sales! ;)

Thanks MM. That is exactly what I'm going to do.

If the Doctor had done a home visit she would be having me committed by now. Baby is moving out both sides again, and though it hurts a bit it's quite tickly and looks hilarious. It's given me a real fit of the giggles. Surely sitting in an empty house giggling to myself is not the sign of a sane person!!!

Now I hate all the ads at the side of websites offering "miracle" products but just seen this and it made me laugh. Look at the before and after pics on the left - that's not even nearly the same woman :rotfl:

ETA: Lovely Doc has just rang. Wants me off for another week, which is probably a good thing but really did want to go back, she is also going to get me a prescription for Omeprazole which WM recommended.

Hope it works for you Harley. I really think it is a godsend.

I'm not bothering, but it is my second. But then again when i had DS, we only went to the first, because i got flu and couldn't get out of bed. The only thing i would be really interested in is the tour of the maternity unit as we now have a new one in our area.

SJ - I know! You'd think they could at least do a quick Photoshop of the same woman's head on the new body or something! So funny...

Well my gorgeous OH is getting me an eternity ring for when bubs is born :D anyways i thought we could use my clubcard points to maybe get a better quality ring so i checked out what was available. Clubcard only deal with gold smiths now the ring i have seen is £240 from the high street. So with my £120 in vouchers i thought i would be able to get something in maybe 18ct in stead of 9ct. Boy was i wrong the same ring i goldsmiths 9ct white gold with 0.50ct of diamonds is £800 OUCH!!!:eek::eek:
