aw tell Daddy we can't keep referring to her as Chipmunk!
Have u been discharged yet? Or ru staying in because she is?
Need to know whether I need to warn OH or not.

Boo - bad bad girl getting takeaway. I'm going to make sausage and mash now :p

Harley - fortunately I can sleep thru it. Feel really sorry for OH - he says he can hear my snoring thru his ear plugs and through the fan on high all night :o I can't help it but sometimes find I make weird noises when I'm awake - hope it goes when baby is born!

I keep thinking of other friends who were doing so much up until their due date and beyond and wondering what is wrong that I can't be doing the same. Feel a bit useless and pathetic to be honest.

    xxx

Me too, am virtually housebound now. Can't drive any further than about 2 miles without being in agony due to having no power steering. Baby still lying transverse (across the way instead of up and down) and anything longer than a 5 minute walk I get horrendous pain the the left side where his head is, Between bottom rib and hip, he sticks it in and out like a turtle! Add to that the braxton hicks which are now pretty much an hourly occurance, I'm well and truely fed up and sorry for myself!

Try not to compare yourself to other people tho cos pregnancy affects everyone differently and each pregnancy is different, I had none of these problems with my DD.:o

boo, my physio lady who takes the ante-natal classes said we should not be bending down at all, we should be going down on one knee, just like a proposal. Preferably next to something like the sofa or a chair where we can put our hand to help us back up again.

Ooh I didnt know this, thanks Harley, I will try and do this, at work too I seem to keep having to bend down like to turn on my computer and put in and out the usb key, and its not great. Must move my computer box out to a better position actually. I do tend to get back up using something like the sofa but only out of necessity else im not sure id get back up :o

csh - I struggled to drive OH's car last week, he's not got power steering. My bump ached loads. I am glad my car is soooooo much easier to drive otherwise I'd be screwed.

Just asked OH if he was coming to clinic on Weds - not interested unless we having a scan. !!!!!!?! It's not like he's doing anything.
Annoyed me earlier when I reminded him about Parentcraft tomorrow and he moaned that he'd need to have a shave.

He's moaning he's bored so when I suggest him coming to appts he's not interested

I think I'm having a BH now but not sure - bump really hard and tight but not particularly painful. Had a cup of RLT about an hour ago. Not sure if it's a BH or bean moving about in weird positions

2 quick questions, I also need to get a new mattress to fit a mamas and papas moses basket, I saw you were talking about this earlier, did I miss anything recommendations?

Also, we have bought 2 sleeping bags from Jojomama as they fitted in with our circus scheme, we got one in 0-6 months and one in 6-18 months. Now am wondering whether we are likely to use the 0-6 month one as baby will be sleeping in the moses basket in our room and not sure that the sleeping bag would work very well in the basket or if it would be better to just use blankets? Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks :)

NMS was saying that M&P moses baskets tend to be bigger so you need a bigger mattress. I'll measure mine this week and see what I can find.

    Will let you know.

No idea about sleeping bag - I have a few and don't know if they are instead of our as well as blankets

Suppose a lot of things we wont know how best to do it until baby is actually here. We are gonna keep both sleeping bags anyhow we have decided as we love them, lol!!

Thanks about the mattress Glam, I might get off the sofa and have a look at the existing 2nd hand mattress that is in the moses basket at the moment and see if that is a standard sized one. I'll let u know...

PS Is RLT Raspberry Leaf Tea, or have I remembered that wrong? What are the benefits of drinking it? Ta!!

the existing mattress in mine has a gap around it when in the basket. Let me know what size the mattress is - and I'll compare it.

Yes RLT is Raspberry Leaf Tea - it helps the womb contract so prepares it for labour (supposed to make pushing part a lot quicker) and will also help womb contrcat back to normal size afterwards.

I've been thinking about this, and wondering - with DS my labour was very quick, and the pushing part was quick, and so i needed stitches. So not sure if i'd want to risk it being any quicker
