Glam, it is to do with the GD. When I get home I will go into more detail. But, sorry to say it is common for GD babies to be hypoglycemic. Then again the labitalol can cause it too, so she got a double hit. She is stabilising now though, drip is down low and she is holding her sugar levels well.

Glam, have you tried milkshake for the heartburn? Much nicer than the evil Gaviscon.

And... Tesco have crusha on offer at mo down from £1.60 to 99p. Got Raspberry which is gorgeous and banana which I've not tried yet.

Can't help with the wrists, is it worth resting them on a heat pack or wrapping them in a wine chiller. My friend used to get carpel tunnel and she used to alternate the two.

Ok thanks Tia - I will try and research it a bit and ask consultant on Wednesday so I know a bit more about it.

I find I alway say 'I know someone who has............. blah blah blah' when I'm talking about things I learn on here. People must think I know loads of pg people - well I do in a way!!! :rotfl:

How ru? Glad she is stabilising now.

Harley - I hate milk! I prefer Gaviscon! :p Think it's probably from the half a box of Mikado biscuits I just ate :o

Had it really bad again this morning, 2.30 am is not a time I want to be up chewing rennies!!!

Have written down the name of some tablets that WM recommended and am off back to the doc tomorrow to try to get them. Have a feeling he is going to sign me off for another week but wanted to wait until tomorrow to decide.

Had family over for dinner yesterday, parents came to help me with a few things and to cook me a nice proper meal. Brother and SIL came up later too. I didn't do much, but we went shopping so dad could carry it all for me and he cut the grass whilst mum did my ironing. They are fab. But my feet were still swollen at the end of the day and everytime I tried to get up I had seized up and was all bent over. Was only shopping for about an hour, can't believe it was that that did me so much damage.

I keep thinking of other friends who were doing so much up until their due date and beyond and wondering what is wrong that I can't be doing the same. Feel a bit useless and pathetic to be honest.

Oops we have just ordered a pizza & chips to be delivered. Being daring tonight and trying something new for my half of the pizza, runaway chicken its called, hope its nice!! Not very mse or healthy but both feeling a bit grot so think we deserve it :)

Im surprised at how hard I am finding bending down now, gawd knows what ill be like towards the end, I didnt realise how much I bend down in a day :o but I seem to be always doing it, to tidy our rug (after dogs scuff it up) or to stroke the dogs, or to pick bits off the carpet that the dogs bring in, grr!! Feels really quite uncomfortable when I bend down so gonna try and minimise it now, fat chance eh!!

I'm good. Sore with the walking but getting out the bed is getting easier. And I have got dressed for breakfast every day from Friday morning, ha! Breast feeding is going well but I am waiting on my tearful day still. Bored of planning my day round meals, medication, expressing and the long walk to special care.

Went to tesco with DH earlier and we got some cute baby clothes and daddy picked her going home outfit. He also got her an Eeyore push for in her crib, she looks like Eeyore when she is being winded! Still no name though!!! Bad Daddy wont make up his mind!

boo, my physio lady who takes the ante-natal classes said we should not be bending down at all, we should be going down on one knee, just like a proposal. Preferably next to something like the sofa or a chair where we can put our hand to help us back up again.
