My lil lady is very quiet today. Not felt her since this morning. Going to poke at her see if she wakes up.

ETA, there we go a wee kick. But if she doesn't her usual 6pm flakey I'm going to go up and get checked.

Perhaps if I cover the Quark with the cabbage leaves it won't ruin my underwear?

Hello everyone! Hugs for anyone that needs. Sorry I cannot keep up with this thread fast enough. Will try read back shortly. Wanted to update you all on my emotional week.

Quick recap of my first posts here.
3 weeks ago was told had miscarriage - didn't know I pregnant nor were hubby and I trying.
2 weeks on was getting increasingly nauseous and dizzy. Went to A&E who said I was still pregnant, had scan to check for ectopic. Scan showed bean with a heartbeat and they said I was 5-6mm and around 5/6 weeks. Drs said it was likely I miscarried a twin.

Then on Tuesday I was in the bath and suddenly bath looked like a horror story. Started freaking out that I was miscarrying, got out bath tried and just waited a bit to see if water had exagerrated it. But no I was bleeding A LOT!! A&E trip and 3hrs later I had a very condesending Dr who basically never listened to my story and said that any uncomfortableness or slight pain is pyschological being my first pregnancy. Wont scan me today because if I bleed tomorrow I will want another scan!! ggggrrr well of course I would - its scary especially as I have supposedly already miscarried one within the same pregnancy!

Next morning I call epu & ultra sound and they wont scan me for a week because Dr put on my notes only to scan in a week!! Nothing they could do unless it was an emergency and I came into A&E again. Obviously now I am really stressed about not knowing and been given no information or help and also had no midwife yet because my appointment wasnt for a while because I was only 5 weeks (though I kept saying I was further along as I knew conception date but no one would listen). My last notes also said I had a cyst on ovary but no one explained what it was.

Anyway instead of going insane I found a private place who had no appointments but listened to my story and said they would fit me in because I had had such a rough time. What an amazing lady we saw, she told me everything to look out for, answered any concerns. Generally gave me time and concern.

Scan was fine and heard heartbeat and I am definitely 8 weeks along and bean is 16mm long!! She said all looks fine and cant see a reason for the bleed but the quantity is worrying and I should go in to the Dr the minute that happens again. Said that pains and uncomfortable feelings are NOT pyschological as first baby and body is changing and uterus pushing things aside and making room. Said cyst was luteal and obviously necessary. Shew! I feel 100% more relaxed about it.

I know people can have periods right throughout pregnancy but I have to say the amount I have bleed was very scary and it happens over 4-5hrs and then stops.
Sorry for the long post! Its just so frustrating when Drs wont listen to you! I have a midwife appointment next week now so at least will have someone (hopefully) to advise me.

Anyone have any experience/ advice on bleeding?

Just a quickie - busy day but just managed to catch up

NMS - my accent is weird! It's def not Northern in anyway, sometimes people say I sound Welsh or from down South (I've lived in Herefordshire, Essex and London). Either way I generally get called posh although I think it sounds like common posh not posh posh - IYSWIM
I hate my voice it sounds whiney and weird!

Sami - yeah, come back and join us! I'll be gone soon but will be back in a year or so!!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
