Well, to save yourself from cleaning I think you spend the afternoon on here. Oh, you could go and bug Sami and find out what she meant!

I always worry that I'm talking too much.

Today I've vacuumed, answered a couple of phone calls, looked up some stuff, bought a travel cot mattress... and I think that's it. Still on my list:

    - wipe down the glass cabinet
    - consider moving the pretty china from the wooden cupboard and swapping it with the less pretty stuff in the glass one
    - make a vague plan for a "meet the baby" dinner for some friends after the birth
    - clean the kitchen floor
    - make a list of things my family can do to entertain themselves when they're here (for a week!!)
    - organise the husband
    - shower

I called the OB/GYN about my sore nipple this morning. He wasn't there, but his sister (also a gyn at the same practice, and so is their father) recommended covering it in Quark over the weekend and if it's not better going in on Monday.

    Cheesey nips?!?! random!

May I suggest that you hold a meet the baby lunch rather than dinner as 90% of babies spend evenings feeding, crying, feeding, crying - most eating has to be done one handed after your OH has cut it up for you :D

I'll tell the Husband that, Sami - he'll be cooking, and most of our guests have kids so we could invite them too and let them have a picnic in the living room, so long as nobody touches the piano.

NMS - I thought it was cabbage leaves too, but apparently the Germans swear by cheese. I'm still figuring out how I'm going to smear it on and not be immediately repulsive. I think we have a roller with packing film on it, that might work!

Aless - the sausage was pretty bad, but I think the cheese is going to smell worse. The fact that the sausages smelled like they were cooking was a problem.

I always said I was only going to give birth twice and then look at fostering or adoption (I love children!) I think we will end up sticking to the original plan but right now I feel broody broody broody!
