:jHiPG is in!:j (which is good cos my car insurance is due tomorrow and we were just a bit short, karma at it's kindest) (and karma paying me back, I broke one of my lovely long pretty nails!) :rotfl:
Nicki, I wouldn't be pleased at DS1 being shown a full live birth. I did show him the pictures of what happens in one of my biology books, but it was drawings. Didn't want him seeing all the blood. Hell, even I don't want to see a woman giving birth! :rotfl:
I never used talc on the boys, I hate he stuff and it makes a mess and I just hate the stuff. Must have been assaulted with a bottle of talc when I was little or something.0 -
Eww! The thought of talk goes through me _pale_
Tia - Good news about the HiPG! Can't believe your here still, sounds like everything is beginning to get ready for you - just seems to be taking its time to actually get there. I still think your inline for some serious queue jumping0 -

You do have to take what health vistors say sometimes with a pinch of salt but as a new mum at first i did every thing they told me i soon learnt to nod my head say yes then do want i felt was right.
They told me not to use talc as it gets on the baby's lungs and can cause breathing problems as there is a history of asthma in the family i didn't use it. There is a cream that turns into a powder effect but doesn't create the dust.
same here elasti! i think that they soemtimes contradict themselves. mother knows best and all that. I didnt use any products on DD when she was less than 6 months old, but since then ive used carefully selected moisturisers and baby bath etc. it is different of course if the child has sensitive skin or allergies.
Tia, it must be frustrating to think that you could have been on your way to be told that your probably not! would do my head in!!!
Who was it said that their son got a glipse of childbirth at 9!!! i wouldnt like to have seen that at 9 years old, i think very late stages of P7 (11-12 yo) or start of secondary school is plenty of time!!!???Carla-Farla!!

You said it, so I did it, and now I need to bleach my own eyes.
That poor woman, with the baby crowning for over five minutes. I saw a second video where it all happened in 45 seconds. I want one of those.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Argh! i hate school ground politics. the mothers can be worse than the kids! It may just be silly pg me with hormones going mad and being over sesitive but i only really have 2 friends that i have made while ds has been going to pre-school and because there is 3 of us sometimes 1 person does get put to one side and left out a bit, But it always seems to be me and i don't know what i can do to get more involved.
Ever since i announce i was pg they have kept there distance a bit and the other 2 are always together, They never stay to chat to me anymore. today they got there a bit before me we used to wait for each other if we saw each other and walk back to the cars or walk home chatting. But they just said hello and walked off because a member of staff asked if i was feeling alright ( i must look a fright lol) they said oh no baby talk again and left.
It's not like i am going to be only talking about being pg and the baby. Infact i never talk about it only on here. They see it as there time now as the children are going to primary school in sept and they are done with all the baby talk and baby stuff.
They have been to each others houses twice this week for play dates, one of the woman has also had another child over today before pre-school and all the mums are out tonight for the end of term but i haven't been invited. Billy no mates me.This is my signature!0 -
SS - I think we went and watched the same video!! Lol...it's like when people say, "don't touch the stove; its hot" and then you do exactly that

just in case u don'y know...I'm back!
Typing 1-handed while little prince feeds.
I had Alexander Harrison (Alex), 7lb 13oz at 17.40 on Monday by emergency c-section. Unfortunately I lost a lot of blood (3ltr, they worry about 1.5ltr:eek:) and had to go back into surgery under general. The blood was from the c-section cut so they sorted it quickly but I had 14hrs in recovery and came home yesterday after crying at the registrar!
Will keep it short for now and try to post pics soon. No chance of catching up though!0
