I am glad it is on the way - i have got some serious nesting going on here and at only 18 weeks and i want to take my mind off more baby name list issues that arose this morning  so i am going to weed the garden a bit:eek: This is very rare behaviour from me:D Will catch up later for an update on your pushchair.0

*yawn* i am so tired but my sister and OH's brother are here, so i cant go off for a nap. Plus awaiting midwife.
Has anyone seen in P&B magazine, the first 250 people to register with mamamio get a free tummy rub, and those who register after the first 250 get a £10 gift voucher.
Am i allowed to post links on here for offers like that?

Hi folks,
Had my 28week check with midwife- all is well, heard a very strong heartbeat and the doppler got a kicking :rotfl:Im measuring at 27cm and my boy is head down at the mo. BP fine, urine fine (cloudy though!!) and had more bloods taken. Wasn't weighed but can't say I'm bothered,I'd only get upset about how much Ive put on. She obviously wasn't concerned at the sight of me or she would have weighed me wouldn't she.
My bump looks smaller today but my @ss looks bigger!? !!!!!!?!
I'm going to try get a 4d scan booked now. Was waiting till after seeing midwife and being measured cos if I was measuring abit big for my weeks I would probs have been sent for a growth scan? But Im not, so want to get 4d scan booked now with a growth report included (last baby weighed 8lb 13.5 and Im abit nervous how big this one will be!)
Ive had a slice of cheescake and a glass of diet pepsi in the past half hour and now my boy is doing the lambada in my womb by the feel of it!!
HI Helen, glad your appointment went well.
I measured 27.5cm at my 28 week appointment so I guess my bump should look right for my dates but I feel massive. It doesn't help that there are two other girls at work, admittedly due just after me, but you can hardly tell they are pregnant where as I get comments like 'are you leaving soon' and 'you really do look pregnant now' and 'your bump is really getting big now' Got to stop bump obsessing and worrying about how big Noogle is (she certainly would prefer more room!) I even got told to stop eating weetabix but I love weetabix.
I get more 'pushing out' and rolling over now than kicks. How about you?Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Jillie - Has it arrived yet? That is pretty rubbish letting you sit in when they knew you were waiting in for it. Make sure they know how inconvenient this is for you when you 'could have been out in the back garden/painting the nursery/ some such vital thing'. I am even more intolerant to this sort of treatment after the mothercare debacle. We keep them in business, we should be treated with a bit more respect!!!
EA - I think you can post the link but I wouldn't get too excited. I signed up for this last time on the 1st day the magazine came out and still only got the voucher. Which is fine if you already want some of their stuff but IIRC their cheapest stuff is £20 ish which doesn't make it as cheap as some of the high street stuff even with their voucher. Try by all means, but don't expect too much.
Helen - glad your check went well, hope your 4d goes as well too.

Now that really confused me. Until I read on and realised you were talking about your Tesco delivery and not making a birth announcement...0 -
WellI think I've overdone it in the sun today! Went for an hour long walk this morning then came home and sat in the garden reading for a couple of hours - got a head ache now!
Might just be a bit worn out too though cos I went for a 2 hour walk yesterday too! I will be taking it easy now over the weekend.
Got my sister coming over for a girly night tonight as OH will be out at work. Making fish pie for tea which I'm looking forward to then going to see if any decent films are on sky!
Glad your delivery finally made it there Jillie - not sure why they couldn't just refund the delivery charge straight away on the phone though, surely that doesn't need "looking into" it just needs doing!0 -
Right ladies I'm off! Going to get a shower and relax for half hour before sis arrives!
Enjoy your Friday night! x0 -
