Jenny, same here, lots of pushing out and rolling over going on!

Have I seen it mentioned before on here by somebody that you can get hold of past medical notes? I really want details of my other pregnancies, just to compare with this one really, can I get hold of them and where? Anyone know? I googled it but didn't find anything of any use.

Well the lil lady was taken to special care earlier as her blood sugar levels crashed. She has a drip in her hand to bring them back up and will be spending a few days there. She is very sleepy so not feeding, latching on but falling asleep before actually sucking. Going to ask about expressing because she is having formula top ups and I dont want my supply being harm ed.

Not happy right now. Have just been told that as I missed my painkiller at 2pm when I was at SCBU all I can have till 10pm is paracetamol! SCBU is miles away too and I am sore. Nobody told me that I could only get my painkiller at set times (its a strong one that needs a special prescription).

Off to see the still unnamed baby. Anyone heard from hypno?

    hi tia...
sorry to hear she's not been too good.
if they knew you were in the SCBU could they not have gone and given it to you there?
thought if you were BF they would ask you for your milk rather than formula anyway... strange to me.
    nothing from hypno today.

Oh Tia, sorry to hear that you're suffering until you get your meds. Hope little one makes a speedy recovery. Definitely ask about expressing.

Just trying to decide what to have for tea- the nutritious choices are tomato soup with garlic bread or noodles. I may have both- not sure yet. In my defence I have had loads of fruit today, just can't be bothered to cook now as hubby has gone to work. Still feeling pretty grotty, have had two naps today but hopefully that is my body fighting off the infection and I will wake up feeling like a new woman tomorrow!

Feeling a wee bit sorry for myself as it is firework night at the end of Cowes Week tonight, and I'm missing it because I'm poorly and too pregnant to stand for hours! All my friends will be out getting very drunk and having a lovely time.

Helen, IIRC it was Tia who had experience of this, she had to obtain her notes as part of a legal action against the hospital at the birth of her DS2 (I could be wrong tho). I'm sure she said to get in touch with the PALs service at the hospital where you gave birth, think there is a fee aswell but can't recall if it was £5 or £15 (or maybe neither :rotfl:).
