I am fairly relaxed, more relaxed now i'm not fighting with the insurance company and i know most things at home are ready except the house needing a good deep clean, but we have all the "stuff" ready!
To be honest i hadn't been in any rush to get the babies room ready and it probably still won't be 100% finished before he gets here but as you said he'll be in with us for 6 months anyway so there's no major panic! I just love the stuff we've managed to get for the babies room so now i just want to see it in place! We got a giraffe rug from argos yesterday (well OHs parents went and got it for me) and it looks great in there!
Oh and we only have a little 2 bed terraced house so baby number 2 won't get his/her own room, and by then we'll probably not have 2 pennies to rub together either so that's probably why i'm letting myself enjoy decorating and buying for this one!0 -
Im getting all weepy now i want to do the nursery thing its the only thing i have ever felt i missed out on although in the long run it has probably saved me a fortune.
Yours sound gorgeous hypno the girraffe rug is it part of that lovely colourful range argos are doing at the moment i was toying with getting that for the cot but we plumped for winnie the pooh as we didnt know what we a were having at the time :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Don't get weepy, it's not like baby is even going to notice the stuff on the walls, it's mainly for us anyway! He'll just know he's loved. The giraffe rug is this one...

and we've got one bright funky purple wall and the wall that's done has this one it....but a different layout, ours is laid out more like a caterpillar...

and the other big wall is having a big space invaders wall decal on it... more evidence that the decor is for us not the baby!0 -
Guessing Carla has already left, but good luck hun. Hope all goes quickly and as pain free as possible.
Isn't that typical, just as her Sister has promised to pamper her for the day baby choses today to arrive. Hope she still gets her pampering in a few weeks instead.
I'm not so puffy this morning. Yesterday I had socks with polka dots on and when I took them off last night I had polka dot imprints in my feet and ankles. I keep mentioning this swelling but no-one seems overly worried.
Having another restful day today but I really must sort this house out. I have a pile of ironing threatening to upturn the chair it is resting on, bits and pieces all around the lounge and a kitchen to clean. Am going to take it pretty easy and only do a bit at a time though. Now is the first time I am really wishing that I had an OH to help me out with these sorts of things.

Ahh that similar to the one i have in my living room Hypno except ine has a bit of blue in it too it looks very nice and plush.
Harley how badley swollen are you some swelling is normal my legs used to look awfull after a day at work and my socks would cut a ring right round my leg but thats settled down now i just have big bloody ankles grrrr fingers arent much better ive had to put my rings on my chain for the time being. if your midwife isnt worried then i wouldnt worry about it yourself :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Ouch, lolly. guess your mind is elsewhere - like the rest of us.
My legs used to be just a bit of skin stretched over the bone, really skinny. So really they only look like normal peoples legs so no-one really seems to notice. The dent from the top of the socks took over an hour to puff out again. But it does go down over night and Midwife really didn't seem all that worried. Also have to let my watch out a notch halfway through the day. Not got rings on for months but fingers don't actually look swollen.
Protein and blood pressure still fine so I think everything is ok.
I'm really hot today, it's strange. I'm the one who is normally in a fleece when everyone else is in T-shirts but this pregnancy malarky has completely changed me.
