Morning ladies,
Labour vibes to Carla (and Natalie, Suzy etc etc). Can't remember who else is due apart from all the inductions. Hope SS is doing ok.
Boogelly - hugs to you. Hope your back eases off soon. Just rest and take it easy.
Harley - I have been quite worried about swelling, as it seems worse than most people but midwife def not worried as protein and bp are both fine. I guess some of us are just more prone to it than others. It really helps to lie with you legs up for hours. I actually have weird lines on my ankles that look like tan lines but are due to the swelling?!
Hyno - baby will be fine and will know daddy pretty quickly. I bet your OH has taken more interest than millions of dads over the years, and they have all managed to bond fine with their babies, so don't worry. Have faith!
Xmas - hope your hands are ok! Think you might need another few hours sleep.
Well, my leg seems to have eased slightly, but is still quite painful to put pressure on, particularly when I have been sitting/sleeping and it seizes up. Took today off as I think the rest is helping it, so will give it one more day. Don't want to aggravate it by going back to work. Another day of laptop and Jeremy Kyle for me. It's driving me mental!!! x0 -

I love it, and the red will match the pushchair. It is new on today and only one there so chuffed to bits that I saw it before someone else bought it. Really like the cupcake one, but the pink with the red pushchair was putting me off. Silly really I suppose.
Anyway, Jeremy Kyle is my cue to go and have a shower. Catch you later

I hate cramp  Its the work of the devil! I get it really bad in both calves and scream the house down, I went to get a glass from the cupboard the other day and ended up dropping it because cramp kicked in as I reached up. Ive been trying to catch up too and got to the heartburn topic, I wish I could drink milk to try and stop it but milk gives me heartburn! If im having cereal before Im halfway through the bowl I can feel it starting and have to have gaviscon as soon as Im done. I tend to stick to toast now :rotfl:Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

Ive just found this http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24466509&ref=sr_gallery_11&&ga_search_query=dr+seuss&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=8&order=date_desc&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title Its so lovely but $425!!!! My mum bought me an overlocker off ebay yesterday so Im on the lookout for dr seuss material now, failing that I'll just do everything in red, white, blue and yellow so it should be nice and bright at least.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

Hypno, once you learn that they don't break, and crying is normal and that your best bet is to ignore 99% of advice your given, you will be fine! I have mentioned that the firs time I picked DS1 up I banged his head of the crib/tank in SCBU!!! After that it was easy!
DS2 bonded with his Daddy first. He and I didn't have any contact for the first 3 days, Daddy had been to see him, touched his hand, spoken to him. I got to see him on day 4, and hold him on day 5. But still he would react more to Daddy than me. Took a while but we got there.

OMG, that is beautiful. We should really stop looking at that site. I could easily spend a months wages in about half an hour. I think I saw somewhere on Etsy where you could see who the sellers buy their material from. Something about the feedback I think, might be worth a look in case the fabric is supercheap.
I thoroughly enjoyed my shower, but I discovered cellulite  Anyone got any ideas what to do to get rid of it. I've never had it before and I dont want it now. I used to have such lovely legs and now they resemble an elephants in both size and complexion.:o

Morning Ladies. It's just taken me ages to catch up. I went to bed at 7:30 last night so missed out on tons!
Carla- good luck honey. Sending you lots of quick and easy labour vibes and I can't wait to hear all about it.
Gemma- Happy Birthday for yesterday.
Beenie- sending you big hugs. Stay strong x x
I'm sure I had loads more to say but it has all gone out of my head. Feeling much better this morning, although I still had a bit of a sore tummy first thing. Day off today so I'm just pottering around at home today. Got the washing on, need to do some ironing and hopefully order my new mobile. I've got a £10 a month new contract, new handset and £90 Quidco cashback so I'm a happy bunny with that. Will also get £30 or so for my old phone for recycling it so that £120 can top up the baby fund :money:.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
