sarah - I'm 19 weeks as well and I haven't felt a thing. However, my scan results have said I have an anterior placenta, so this means I won't feel them 'til a bit later. I don't get my "20 week" scan 'til the 21st (22 weeks!!), so I'll be 1 of the last it feels like!!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

You lucky thing- a friend of mine said her first kicked very early in the morning and has always been an early riser (he's 6 now). It might be because I generally get up pretty early too (often 5am ish for work).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hi there, thanks for this. I will look if there is anything on my notes after I go for my scan. I think you're the nearest due date to me- there is a possibility of a Christmas Day MSE baby! Are you finding out the sex when you go for your scan? x0 -
right I'm logging off for the night
OH has a 2nd interview for a job on Tuesday and we need to do some prep for it.
Sarah - post more throughout the week! Don't be shy!
Also, noticed Sarah Joanne hasn't been on for a few days but I saw her Thanking posts yesterday or FridayHope she is OK.

We've know since 16wks that its a boy, I'm 32wks now and its still only me OH and DD (12yrs) that know so it can be done!!
I found after the initial excitment (first fortnightish I had to bite my tongue), it was then very easy to keep it quiet. It helps tho that up here (Scotland) the hospital won't tell you the sex anyway and no-one knew we had a private scan.
The spare room was decorated the month before we got BFP so we've just left it as is for the time being. I have bags and bags of blue things hidden and neutral things on show for when people want to see the room.
We did it this way because both sets of parents didn't want to know but both OH and I were desperate to x0 -
Crikey, there's been hundreds of posts since I was on yesterday!
Hypno - I was going to post about maybe hiring a cleaner when I read your first one, but you got there yourself before me! Maybe you could have her come in while you are in hospital with the c section though, so you know you will be coming back to a pristine house? I'm dreading what mine is going to be like if I leave OH with the two kids in it for 4-5 days, even if it is pristine when I leave!
Can't remember whether it was you or Tia worrying about barfing during the c section, but when its elective they have you starve for a few hours before hand so that your tummy is empty, so I don't think that should be an issue.
I had a busy kitchen day yesterday. A couple of the members of our local church really kindly made a CD of songs for my DD, as I had mentioned to one of them how much she liked to listen to him sing in church. They did a really professional job - recorded 24 songs for her, had it professionally mixed and designed a sleeve for the CD with proper software - and they gave it to us a few weeks ago. I wanted to do something to say thanks, so spent yesterday baking for them both, and also made a fish pie for tea for us all, which was lovely but really labour intensive. Today I was absolutely shattered so just served up a thai green curry for tea, made from a jar of sauce and a couple of chicken breasts - guess which one was more popular with the kids .
Our other drama last night was leaving DD unsupervised for a few moments while she was having her bath. She is 8 so no danger of her slipping under water. She did decide however to turn the taps on full blast whilst splashing in the bath, and managed to flood the bathroom, and have water pouring through not just the ceiling below the bathroom, but the ceiling below the room that is below the bathroom!!!! I had to run upstairs for loads of clean towels to absorb the damage so quickly that I was having full on contractions for an hour afterwards
Next antenatal appt is next week, and have decided that I am going to try and get a definite commitment for a csection whatever happens, so that I can try and relax a bit more.0 -
Quick question, when you have the glucose test do you get the results there and then, or do they get back to you?0

Booboo, very MSE, go girl! :money::T
Glam's OH good luck with the interview, don't overdo it with the aftershave, nothing worse than a man who catches in your throat
Nicki, it's me with the random panics about the c section. I don't think I'll vomit, I'm not a sicky person. My mate is though and twas she who went into detail about it
Hope you have recovered form your flood and DD enjoys her CD! How you coping with the PTSD? Making any progress?
I built up the pram, well, changed the pushchair bits to the carrycot, it looks lovely and it now has a home, yay! DS2 won't recognise his buggy haha. I did however end up in tears during the switching over. I sat on the wooden filing cabinet because DH is on his new gaming chair playing xbox and I couldn't get the pram over to the sofa... and I fell through it!!!! So now have two huge bruises on my bum and a broken filing cabinet. And I'm still blubbing, for no real reason other than I just want to blub! It's like the baby blues, I don't feel sad, I'm just crying. Is this normal? I have no idea what 'later pregnancy' is like, but so far I'd say it is bloody crap!0
