my car was parked in the pub car park a few weeks back (it's a one year old 206) and when I went out I noticed a dent and scratches just above the wheel arch on drivers side back wheel. I had noticed a banger pulling in next to it and then driving off and parking somewhere else but just thought they had decided to park somewhere else - they had obviously not judged the angle and hit my car. It makes me so mad :mad::mad:
I am always so careful when parking so it infuriates me when other people are so inconsiderate!
OH just made me cheese on toast and then gave me a slice of coconut cake (very naughty I know)
Big labour vibes to SSA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Right, off to get ready. Going out for dinner as DH has not been out all weekend really. Just going to local Beefeater place, but hope it's not too busy as haven't booked a table! Catch up with you ladies later no doubt. I don't feel like I do anything else at the moment!

MBM - I'm not sure if Tia was on methyldopa before or if it was Jillie on it but I remember the name being mentioned on here
When are you due?
I am glad I am being induced from the knowing when baby will come POV but am also pooing myself cos they do say induction hurts more
Why can't pregnancy be straight forward?
My consultant scared me when he told me that 50 years ago women with diabetes didn't give birth to live babies - so my delightful mother can bang on about bullying consultants all she wants I'm being monitored and being good :A
I'm due 31st August, seems like ages away but I suppose at least now I can say i'm due 'this month' I've been induced with all 3 of my babies so far so I cant comment on it being more painful than going into labour spontaneously but Induction doesnt have to be that bad. My first was pretty long but then again, that could have been the same for any first labour anyway. My second and third inductions were both just my waters being broken, they were 4 hrs and 3 hrs but very painful as I went straight to strong labour with no slow build up - I'm hoping fourth time that baby will just fall out, well I can dream cant I?

Fitzio- I am on Iron and have been ever since my first bleed so for about a month now, the black poo thing is a bit gross but you get used to it, just becareful to get a good diet while you're on them and drink lots too because they can cause constipation, i have been pretty lucky so far (touch wood) but i have had one or two occasions that have been quite uncomfortable.
Sugar, I've been banned from housework altogether, but it's my birthday next Sunday and I thought I might just have a cleaner for the day instead of a pressie.0 -
Hey everyone, I don't post much but read every day. Can I just ask at what stage did people feel their bean kick or move around? I am 19 weeks (ish) and don't think I've felt anything yet
Thanks in advance! x0 -
Hiya again ladies
I have thank fully escaped the need for iron tablets my blood counts remains quite high so no black poo for me:eek:
Doctor has called he said he believes i dont swine flu as i would have a high temperature but he said i can get the meds and follow the other precautions just incase as i am pregnant. he said i should isolate myself if any other symptoms occur ie: the temp goes up.
He also said that a simple honey and lemon lintus is fine to take during pregnancy just to avoid any of the major brands like benelin as they contain other active ingredients that would not be good for baby.
I'm feeling much better about the whole thing now :j:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Hiya albion and welcome. Congratulations on your new bean i take it its your first chick. You should feel something soon and you may have felt it already but not realised as the first movements are very subtle they can feel like a bit of trapped wind or butterflies in your tummy. I felt mine about 12wks gone but then this is my third and everything moves a little quicker with subsequent pregancies :-) xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

I was 18 wks when i first noticed some flutters and movement, But this is my seond so i knew what to look out for. You may have already had some flutters and not realised it. I tent to notice them when i am still and in bed at night. No real big movements here yet at 20 wks but then it has some layers of fat to get though on me lol. This is my signature!0 -
Thanks Xmaslolly and Elastigirl, yes it is my first. I guess it doesn't help when people keep asking 'haven't you felt it kick yet?'. I was never one to worry before I got pregnant!
I'll go back to lurking now, take care everyone xx0
