I wasnt sick at all. In fact I dont think I even felt nausious (sp??) Gas pain is unbelievably sore !! They will offer you pepermint tea - TAKE IT !!!
Also take all the pain killers offered, even if you dont think you need them as once you start to feel the pain, it is harder to get rid of. And get out of bed as soon as they let you, the quicker you can do that the better, but make sure you tell them if you are sore or feel funny as it is easy to think its normal when its not !!

You will be fine !!

Peppermint tea bags are in the bag!!!

My friend scared me by telling me how she was sick during it, lying on her back/side and it has just scared me! I do not want DH seeing me vomit!!!

But then she is sick at everything... so... I shall be fine because I;m dead tough like that

I felt a little sick with my emergency one, but with an elected, you are given an antacid to help before you go into theatre. Thats the weird thing though if you havent been told in advance, they tilt you on your side !!!! I didnt know they were doing it and thought I was falling :eek::rotfl:

I do remember being on my side as I got knocked out last time. And I was warned about it and the leg squasher things. Got very ill on day 3 or 4 with wind, was tested for meningitis but then I had been on my back for 3 days so any luck I can get up and moving about and that won't happen.

It is not an emergency section this time and so will be like sitting in a comfy bentley compared to a rickety old bus. Yes.

yeah, my 2 were so far apart it is unbelievable !!!!!!!!!

My em c section had me in pieces for days and I was still quite sick and sore for weeks after. This time, I was up and about the next day, and discharged myself to go see Dylan less than 48 hours after I had it done

MM, you are really helping me, thank you so much! I'm fine till bed time (just going) then I lie awake worrying about it for hours, till my labitalol kick in and I pass out.
