It wasn't too bad Suzy - no more uncomfortable than any other internal, although it did freak me out when I didn't know the word for "stroke" in German. He was trying to tell me that he was stroking the baby's head and when I didn't get it he stroked my head and said, like so. But he was still in there with the other hand so was getting mama and Bellyfrog at the same time

CTG afterwards showed some very strong contractions, so hopefully the doctor and his magic fingers have kicked it all off. Incidentally, don't call them "magic fingers" when your OH can hear. Apparently they take that rather sulkily.

That is a lovely bump pookie. I'm going to take a picture of mine while I remember.

I like this doctor. He said at one stage, while rummaging in there, Do you know what I'm doing now?

It was like being transported back to teenage boyfriends.

Oh, I completely forgot about the video, I'll figure out how to upload it now. We have today's belly picture as well. I was going to take video at the clinic - the alien within hates the monitor pads and was going mad to get away from them but she doesn't have room to manoeuvre any more so it was just this angry rippling. My stupid phone wouldn't cooperate though - we'll try again on Sunday morning.

Hi everyone, this pregnancy thing is to tiring.
I went to bed about midnight and woke up at 11:30am.
    And im still knackered!

8 weeks today :D OH asked me if i want to have another early scan done at 9 weeks, i said no. But now im unsure, i'd only want it so i can see the baby :) But its £50!

Regarding the mouse problem, if you find the hole in which they are coming through stuff it with wire wool. Apparently they hate that.
When i lived with my mum in our old flat, the whole block got mice and eventually they came to our house, we used poison but they wised upto it. So we tried stuffing the holes with fabric covered in bleach, didn't work.
Then we tried wire wool and got two kittens. The kittens were scared of the mice :rotfl:
We once caught a live mouse to, my stepdad knocked it into the bin and put the lid on and left it for my mum, but my mum is a wuss so i had to go and get my hamsters little plastic spare cage and get it in there and set it free downstairs.

**labour vibes** for those in need :D:D

Sorry i am only lurking today. I feel *****. It seems to be boob pain, bowel pain and generally feeling carp and feeing down. I suffer from depression anyway but it looks like i am having problems fending it off. to top it all off i have a very messy house and a poorley cat who insists on vomiting everwhere :(

Suzys wings and sugarspun's doc did make me smile though.:)
