No way would I allow anyone to film it! :eek: Suzy, you are far braver than I.

I need to ask if DH can cut the cord. He didn't get asked with DS1 because he was in distress and he wasn't there with DS2 because I was under a general. He has expressed a wish to cut it this time, it's his last chance and last baby.

Bah. The clinic's scheduled induction slots are all full on Monday so now I'm booked in for Tuesday instead.

I have to go in on Sunday morning for CTG monitoring and they'll check me out then, apparently the amniotic fluid's measuring a bit low so they want to keep an eye on me and may decide to throw her out then. Baby's allegedly up around 7 1/2lbs but the doctor says he thinks that's a bit on the high side.

He also stripped my membranes and doesn't think I'll last till Tuesday. I asked if we could keep her in till Friday for the 07/08/09 birthdate, and apparently that's only going to happen if we duct tape my legs together and fill me with drugs. I said I was ok with that but I don't think he got the joke.

What have I missed aside from Suzy's angelic rainforest and burgeoning career in gore films?

so am home from hospital appointment. lovely doc gimme a sweep - but only managed a fingertip - que sad carla. She also did a scan, and all measurements seem fine, and then she told me that baby was estimating at around 8lb 6oz!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mouth dropped. My DD was 7lb 10oz! Sooo...she also gimme a date for induction, which will be wed 12th august. another 2 weeks. even sadder carla.
sister is having DD for us overnight tonyt, so OH is gonna treat me to cinema and lotsa sweets --thats if im able to sit in one place for that length of time!!!!!!

Tia - Oh he's just sprung that one on me...shaves me THEN tells me. Told him in no uncertain terms am i to end up on You tube! Arrh about the cord that will be so nice for him. Im getting excited now you made me think of that bit.


This videoing lark makes you think about how your going to look and portray yourself. Its really stressful thinking about it, but you can imagine can't you ..I'm st tropez to high heaven, my belly is black , shaved into "perfect angel wings", toenails done, false eyelashes on.. It'll be me shouting "" How am i looking?? Have you got my best side??!! Is there any tissue down there ?? "" when all i want to do is swear and moan and let it all hang out!

The tissue bits down there is a big fear of mine- told OH last night if i have tissue there move it for me wont you, I dont want the md to see it. ....And they think pregnant ladies have it easy!!!!

suzy - my sister failed her test unfortunately, thanks for the vibes though!! and the sweep isnt that bad - i felt some pressure but thats about it!

Sugar - Arrh poor you. Is she ever going to come out?? Did it hurt when they stripped your membranes.

yup, just one. she did try a good bit...but im just cooking this baby too well. It knows that its better where it is than to come out and join the real world. lol. :rotfl:

pookie - lovely bump....ive still got to get oh to take a foto of mine.

on the subject of video recording, OH suggested it with DD and i was a defniite NOWAY! but i dont remember much about her being born (being high on gas n air n all that.lol) So this time round, ive asked him if he would mind doing it.
no1 else could ever watch it apart from me, but i would like to have it to look back on!!

I go nap. They upped my labitalol and I'm sleepy. But oh my on Wednesday night after I took it at the hospital, I melted into a chair and was totally chilled.... and so my BP is behaving better now too.
