I honestly don't know how I'm going to manage drinking a pint and a half of water then not peeing for a couple of hours for my 13 week scan a week on Monday! I've been 3 times in the last hour and a half and I'm not drinking that much!0

SJ water takes about 20 minutes to get from your mouth to your bladder - so if you start drinking about 45 minutes before and manage the pint and a half in 20-25 minutes you'll be fine. I used to work in an ultrasound department
Apparently pregnant women are going to be prioritised for the swine flu vaccine when it finally turns up, but the government is concerned that women may choose not to take it in case it harms the foetus. The risk of complications is higher and so is the mortality rate among pregnant women compared to non-pregnant women so they're being proactive. In the meantime, be careful and avoid people who are symptomatic.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Just back from the midwife, clean bill of health but cheeky baby is lying transverse which explains why I feel like he's spliting me across the middle! Still plenty of time to turn, tho he does seem happy there:rotfl:
Was a different midwife today which was nice as the usual 1 is completely incompetant and acts like everything is such a chore:mad:. It turns out she never put my name in for Parentcraft classes even tho I asked (and she sighed, hello hen, its your job), and theres not enough time to get me on the next set so now I have to do class 3 & 4 now with one group then class 1 & 2 with another group:mad: and class 3 is on Friday and OH is working, so I'll need to go along uninvited on my own like a pillock to a class of people who all know each other, no fair :-(0 -
CSH that really sucks. I'm amazed by people who act so put out when asked to do something they are paid to do!! If I acted like that in my job I'd be fired!!
Nice you got to see a mw who seems to know what she's doing though.0 -
I was told to book on parent craft classes during my booking in appt @ 9 weeks!
I booked on at about 14 weeks - I start them at 34 weeks and the last one is the week I'm due to be induced! Monday 6pm to 8pm so nice for both me and OH.
OH had interview yday which went very well - probably second interview next week. Was told he is strongest candidate so that's promising! I let him borrow me beloved car and as soon as he got back he starts checking the back end saying 'I thought a van clipped it' :eek:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Hi everyone,
I am 34 weeks pregnant with baby No. 4 (have 3 boys already, aged 8, 4 and 2), and have been told that we are having a little pink one this time!
Just after a bit of advice really, I have been to my midwife this morning and I am only measuring 28 weeks pregnant, although I am 34 weeks. Has anyone else had anything like this? I have a growth scan today at 3.40pm, but I am worrying myself sick.
