Hey Triggles. Good luck! I'm your new due date buddy! My little chap was due on 20th, But has not made an appearance yet (although i am getting mild contractions today) I've been asked to go to the labour ward tomorrow morning for induction :j (My dad's over the moon! It's his 50th birthday tomorrow aswell :D)

I hope you have a short and pain free labour ;)

Awww your kitten is so cute, I was going to get one, but my mother and MIL and OH are totally paranoid about me being pregnant and having a kitten so I have to wait to get one (I know I know, I can clean it out with gloves on, Ive tried all that but they arent listening lol)

YAY NMS and baby Liam and Garry, I am so pleased to hear everything is fine, sorry there were some complications though

Fitzio - I totally agree, I quit smoking before I fell pregnant but while we were trying, and I too have also read the Allen Carr book and I think that has helped a lot too

Happy Birthday Kindof!!!! Hope you have a brilliant day and get thoroughly spoiled.

Congratulations NMS. Can't wait for your birth story and pics. Glad you're both doing well.

Good luck Triggles and Niknaknoo- hope it all goes as you want it too and that you are soon home with your bundles of joy.

I'm waiting for my cot to be delivered today- between 7-2 so it probably won't be here for ages yet. Also getting my hair chopped off as I am so fed up with it at the moment. It's totally unmanagable and I just don't have the patience. Will post pics later! Must also get a bump pic later as haven't done any for ages.

Happy Birthday Kindof. Hope you have a lovely day and hubby is doing something special for you. It's your last birthday just the two of you!

CSH - I can't see your bump picture. Maybe the graphic is blocked at my work, but I am sure it's lovely!

Okay, I need advice from car boot veterans...I've found a Silver Cross travel system with all the accessories on Gumtree for £100. This seems like a total steal...but I've never looked for baby stuff at a car boot so I don't know if I could possible get a travel system for way cheaper?? I mean, how much do those things usually cost at a car boot? I realise it's all very situational & random, but I also don't wanna pass up this cheap of a pram on Gumtree if I'm not likely to ever see one again that cheap.

    Morning everyone,

Welcome to the newbies and good luck to Niknak and Triggles!
Congrats to NMS, hubbie and baby Liam too!
    Happy Birthday kindof :bdaycake:

Ive had to take a days holiday today to wait for the plumber, after 9 weeks of complaining to the letting agents we're finally getting our shower fixed :T And there putting a new boiler in and draining the system too which is good as its about 30 years old and our gas bills have been scandalous. The timer was bust and it just randomly turns itself on and off at the mo, even when you switch everything off

Might spend the day making lists and trying to organise what needs to be done before the belly monkey puts an appearance in, Im 24+4 today and my friend had her little one at 29 weeks in Jan so Im taking no chances. (I know its rare to be born that early but I was 7 weeks prem and prem babies seem to run in our family)
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
