I just can't keep up with you girls when I'm at work but I think most people have replied for me and I agree with everything everyone has said! You just have to know what the options are then work out what is best for you and your family, circumstances etc. That reminds me, I still haven't done any research yet into baby language and baby lead weaning. So much research to do but I love doing it! I'm the type of person who has to go in every shop before making a decision on what to buy. Of course my sister didn't do any research and is managing just fine, so at the end of the day you have to wonder how much affect all these things really have - my mum certainly didn't do attachment parenting with me and I think I've turned out just fine!
Aless, my brain feels slow today, can you give me a quick run down of what factors I need to work out whether I would be better working 4 days or 5. Thanks!Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Ooh, how convenient, I just came in with EPO questions and you're talking about it!
I have these giant EPO capsules about the size of my little finger. The box says I'm to take three of them a day, which is 3000mg of EPO. If I take one and poke a hole in the other and do the other thing with it, is that too much EPO?
Diawoowoo would only be welcome at this point in time, that part of it doesn't concern me at all since I'm thoroughly bored of the opposite.
My tongue is raw from eating pineapple, Husband is begging for mercy and I've walked my flip flops through. Operation Emergency Eviction is on!
From what I have read, you take 4 X 500mg orally (so 2000mg) from 38 weeks and then 1 or 2 (500mg) vaginally. We don't seem to get the 1000mg ones here.
It should only be the oral dose that gives problems (diadiddly/nausea as it passes through the digestive system), the cervical dose only works on the cervix.

SS - oh I am soooo right there with you. I have given up on the pineapple, as all it seems to do is give me horrible horrible indigestion. We've done the walking (and the sex) to it's limits, I think. And I'm not willing to get further bowel issues from taking the EPO. I've had to resort to bouncing on the fitness ball and just hoping for the best. I had BHs every 20 minutes last night but then they went away. Hope the EPO works for you!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

I use Bio Oil for PM (althou not starting it properly until 34 weeks.
Think Tia said she puts Bio Oil on her lady bits cos its helps with elasticity of skin so figured it would be a good place to start!newmoneysaver wrote: »I think EPO was mentioned too, but more inserting it places _pale_
EPO can be inserted but I also plan to get the EPO capsules and get the oil out to use for massage as well as Bio Oil.
Ah, and you did miss me :rotfl:
I can't believe how much work I got done today! For some unknown reason I couldn't login  everytime I tried it said my password was wrong. I even set myself up as a new user Glamazon II but once set up it wouldn't let me login
Now, I'm home it's fine so maybe I can't get on in work anymore! I can read and keep up though!
Have been dying to send Skinty some labour vibes (although have been sending them mentally anyway)
Thanks to WM who I have PM'd back!
Scan tomorrow :j:j:j:j

Thanks Tia - these 1000mg things are a bit intimidating - they're enormous!
And the lady in the health shop asked me if I was sure I was only having one baby and if she was a 5kg baby. WHY do people ask that? I'm aware that I'm enormous, thank you. I think if there were twins someone would have noticed, and all it does it make me self-conscious.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Sounds just like me! i'm an 8-10 and am all bump!
I've put on 9.5kg so far and it is all baby weight. From the back I don't even look pg but from the front and side  it's huge!
I get 'wow, not long left now' or 'is there 2 or 3 in there?'
I just ignore them!
I'll try and post a bump pic this week (31 weeks today :j)A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I hate all this size commentary. It's unbelievably rude.
Yes, my belly is huge. There is a WHOLE EXTRA PERSON in it.
First EPO capsule choked down. RLT just finished steeping. I shall request that Husband come out for a walk when it's a bit cooler and I may stop at the Indian restaurant downstairs on the way back for something spicy. We know the owner and he finds it hilarious that I normally order dahl or korma but at the moment am insisting that he cause my tastebuds grave pain.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
