Glam- I just had jacket spud, lentil bolognese and cheese for tea and it was amazing!
Massive labour vibes to Skinty- so excited for you!
Feeling very achey today- looking forward to a nice early night as OH has finished nights. Loving the fact that it has cooled down so much, just as long as the weather picks up a bit next week for my week off.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I do look huge. Caught a glimpse of myself in a shop window earlier. Belly is sticking out like a mile in front of me! :rotfl: I actually need high vis stripes on it!
But if anyone said that to me....
I've lost weight on my face though. It's just the bump! Like woooah!!0 -
Evening ladies
Have roast beef for dinner is it wrong that iam looking more forward to the mustard than the beef ??? Also just think it must have been the top i am wearing but got offered a seat on the bus on the way home !!!!! I said no thanks as i was in shock i think. Just told oh & he said why did u not take it then went on about me feeling light headed etc.Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
Aw Lou, you have got it bad for mustard, haven't you?:rotfl:
Tia - thanks for the pump link, we look into that later.
I don't understand why people feel the need to comment on everything. I'm 38 weeks today and getting the I bet you can't to finish work comments, and the oh, bet your fed up now! Er no, and no  I'm not fed up, I'm actually enjoying being pregnant and I'm not bothered about finishing work yet, cos when I do finish it'll make everything seem real
I too don't look pregnant from behind, but my bump looks smaller these last few days and it's really beginning to drop.0 -

Ooh, my hubby has gone to buy me a Krispy Kreme! Gotta love him!
Can I unashamedly share a pic of me and my nephew with you? He's three months in this pic and a right bruiser!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hello ladies and bumps. Hope all are well and that skinty is holding her bubs by now.
Had my Growth (31 weeks) scan and consultant appt today. Had scan first and was the same lovely lady who tried so hard to get the 4D pic for me a few weeks ago. And, bless her, she said if I had time to hang around for her to finish shift she would have another go. Anyway, I waited and we went off to the other machine to give it a try and my lovely little girl decided she is still shy and was having none of it. But how fantastic that she was keen to give it another go. Think Baby H is determined that mummy has to wait til she's born before she gets a name.
Got to go back again at 36 weeks for another scan as she is a bit large at the mo. Just about within the lines on the chart but estimated weight is 4lb 6oz. No wonder I am so tired dragging such a huge weight around all the time.
On a different subject, can anyone tell me what they would do in my situation?
Have had a couple of chats in the last couple of days with a colleague only to come home and log into facebook to find that he has swine flu!!! We don't work in close proximity but are in the same office and deal with the same people. He is the sort who is likely to go to work tomorrow and was in today, though I don't know when he found out he had it. Posts on facebook are all since 6pm tonight. If he is in tomorrow can I ask what you would do in my position? The advice in the paper yesterday was for pregnant women to stay at home, but today it says that we are to carry on as normal.
The phone number is not yet up and running to ring them so I'm not really sure what to do. Any opinions welcome
thanks
