i cannot beleive i have less than 3 weeks to go. i havent either got scared once about giving birth yet which is terrifying me in itself, i dont think im prepared mentally, i think some part of me is actually thinking it will never happen !!!! I hope I cope eeeeeek !!!!

I've never been scared either, not even now it is probably happening. I'm just excited about meeting my baby! :j

TMI, I'm pretty happy. Had a quick check of my cervix (nice clean hands and didn't go poking so don't worry) and I am happy to say there have been changes. It's soft, forward facing and a good finger tip dilated (without me sticking a finger in) which should mean that I can get an induction!!!! :j:j:j:j Looks like the EPO works

All these contractions/BH must be doing something too.

If you stay calm there is this part of you that just takes over. Try and focus on yourself when the time comes, stay nice and relaxed, just keep breathing and somehow it works out. You can practice that now too. In a quiet room, just sit quietly and breathe however you like, slow, deep, whatever is comfortable for you. Get in the zone. *is all chilled now*

sounds like u ladies know what your talking about, i'm sure it will just all happen, packed hospital bag yesterday and just putting baby clothes in seems strange. even tho we've had nursery done for weeks. somehow i never imagined bringing baby home to go in there, i am very very excited though

Wow, this thread moves really fast!

Thanks for the hints about baby clubs ladies, since having a scan feel confident enough to do that not without jinxing anything.

Also, I meant knickers not trousers, think my brain has already started to melt.

Speaking of bumps, I am 12+3, but after having my tea tonight I swear I bloated out and looked 5 months gone, still really bloated now. went to the gym otnight for first time in 4 weeks, did body combat and took it realy easy but could just feel my nipples the whole way in my sports bra. It helped if i held my boobs down, but not practical when punching!

Hope everyone is feeling OK, and things are going well so far. Am now about 5 minutes aaway from falling asleep- does anyone else get that, I;m fine then just have to sleep within 10 minutes?

Gemma, I can still fall asleep at the drop of a hat! Im 23+2 and sometimes my OH will be talking away to me, go out to make a drink and when he gets back Im out for the count!
