I know no-one can really tell me if it's labour without a VE, but I can;t exactly get one of those from OH so I have no way of knowing what is going on in there.

    Would this help? http://prepforlabor.tripod.com/id14.html

well if it was going to happen to anyone it would happen to me lol!!
woke up yesterday feeling full of flu and called my gp today and have been given Relenza!! To be honest have had worse flu's before seems quite mild but am struggling to keep my temperature down.
Hope everyone is well and hope this helps a bit for anyone worrying about swine flu!

Be prepared for it to get worse. I had it last week, day 4 was a nitemare. I had to have cold baths to get my temperature down. Feeling ok now day 7 although i have the runs (tmi i know sorry ) and am bringing up bile, not sure if pregnancy related or not.

Its pretty scarey , especially when your gp wont do anything, then again im not sure i wanted to take anything and have sorted my self out

While we're on the subject of nipples Im hoping you ladies might be able to advise me. One of my nipples is inverted, Im hoping to breastfeed and dont know if this is going to be a problem or if theres anything I can do to make it 'pop out' Ive not googled yet, just wondered if anyone else had any experience of this?

My best friend had inverted nipples (both) and was told she would have no problem breastfeeding as the suction from baby would make them pop out. Unfortunately this didn't work for her with either of her two children, but she was able to express via pump and bottle feed. I would assume though, given that she got the same advice from more than one midwife, that it is sometimes possible to feed directly with inverted nipples but that it might depend on the severity/strength of baby's suck

Hmm. I'm tempted, but might need to trim my nails first! I might do that later tonight but otherwise I'm going to enjoy OH cooking for me and relaxing on the sofa.

Skinty, TMI follows especially for you.

Husband checked mine last week to see what was going on. There are lots of Google resources for home examination, and he had the benefit of being able to manoeuvre a bit.

Edit: :rotfl: Husband is nesting! I just walked in on him taking all the spare bedlinen out of/off the top of the wardrobe and sorting it :rotfl:

I've just read your birth story and got goosebumps! (I think you were here before I progressed to the parent thread - so I feel like your a real person!).

Congratulations - and i'll see you on the parent thread when you get a chance. :T
