Firstly, it will be tied to the PC it's first installed on, so no upgrading and using the same license (officially). Secondly, you'll need to contact your system builder for support (i.e. yourself), as MS won't provide any support to you.
The system builder license states you need to SELL it to a 3rd party, you can not distribute it to yourself.
On the other hand MS wont care as they dont have to support you anyway...0 -

Still cheap at the following:
Dixons: £44.97 - 3% CashBack @TopCashBack
Currys: £44.99 - 4% CB @ TCB
PC World: £44.99 - 5% @ TCB (2% CB @ Quidco)
They all charge on dispatch, which, like someone above, concerns me a little - easier for them not to honour..?
I'm not a fan of any of these places (especially PC World), but I can't see Windows 7 as cheap anywhere else, and I suppose for something like this they're ok. Think I'll go with PC World... <shudders> I'll go wash my mouth out now :eek:0 -
Tesco are now doing Windows 7 @ £49.97 with double Clubcard points. 3% cashback at TCB/Quidco.
(The headline price is actually £44.97 but it comes up as £49.97 in the basket. Maybe that'll change later).
