    You're right about the money I'm giving them paying for delivery!

    Anyone know how I can deal with him refusing to stay away and insisting on coming back until he can 'assess' me as being ready to live without him? I don't have any local friends I can stay with, and I'm not really up to a big scene with him banging on the door.

    You will have to stand up to him. No way around that.

    If he bangs on your door, tell him to go away. If he does not, call the police. Tell them about how you've stopped paying him £30 for "services" and now he's hammering down your door. They're going to be *really* impressed by that.

    I'm worried if I try to call the police or anyone he'll just say it's because of my mental health (bipolar) and that I'm not in my right frame of mind, and he'll end up getting back in with all the professionals on his side.
