Doesn't matter what you argue. In this case possession is 9/10th of the law. Keep out of his reach everything you want to keep. He's done it before and he will again.

Absolutely right Z....with his past record he doesn;t have a leg to stand on...Ames you have been supporting him with this arrangement....

Not at all. He just wants to grind you down. His reasoning is that you've caved in before, so you will again.

And as others have said Ames...you are clearly starting to make your own decisions, becoming much stronger and more alert to their tactics....well done ...you have taken great steps :T:T........so you won;t cave in (and if you need a sanity check come on here and we will all support you)......and of course they will kick back as they now realise they are losing control of their cushy little number.........

Before you see the professionals tomorrow, make a list of ALL the things you have done for yourself while he's been away and that you can do for yourself. Point out to them professionals what your sis has done and why (reference the hoover and cleaning of the flat)......give other examples if you can.......

If you get the useless GP ...cancel the appointment....ask to see the nurse immediately afterwards and if thats not possible make another EMERGENCY appointment to see a GP you prefer to see......

..and if it suits you, ring the Samaritans and talk it through with them (you don;t have to be feeling suicidal to chat to them .........they're a listening ear for the times when your usual support network are not available and you just need to get things straight in your own mind and run something past another human being.........just tell them that at the start of the call...and get the name of who you speak to...useful back-up witness)......also have you tried SANE...they're great for advice/chat

I mention the two support lines above because I know how important it is to have access at all times to other points of reference when you are having to face a lot of manipulative techniques/people in your life.
.I rung them loads of times when I was "disengaging" from some toxic people in my life and I had a wibble.......;):D

So keep going and don;t let the turkeys grind you down (apologies to Pepe)

    Stay strong Hun

Bookie, I hope you have a wonderful time. Allow yourself a little break from worrying - don't feel guilty about doing this, just tell yourself that your head needs a rest and you will be better equipped to tackle things on your return if it has had a PROPER rest.

But above all, have fun, and keep in touch if you can, but if not, we will expect piccies!! :D

Sorry you're having a difficult time skintas. It gets very quiet on here at this time, so you might not get many replies, but there will be more people around in the morning, if you are around then. We will all try to support you. :)
