Many, many thanks Welsh Dragon for this post. Received my parcel this week just in time as all of my A level students finish on Friday. I've managed to give all of those doing A level English a little present (pen or pencil/eraser + bookmark + book voucher) and the rest of the A level students got vouchers + bookmarks. Great end to the year for them. The mugs I err ... kept to myself.

Hello savingpennies - love your username - it's great to hear from people like yourself and hear what they have done with their freebies. It's really brill to have posted something which has benefitted so many people and so many different groups/communities.

Who delivers the World Book Day goodies? Is it courier, parcel force or postman?

I emailed them and asked if they had any spare vouchers as my 2 chidren love reading and got 200 tokens,50 pens 50 pencils and 50 rubbers posters and bookmarks and stickers which I have taken most of to my childrens school.surely they have to be the most generous company out there!

ANC delivered mine so it was by courier.

Are the voucher's for Quick Reads or for the children's world book day books, which are different?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think we are talking about quick reads here and they seem to be adult orientated - not that that makes them any less useful or valid but I was thinking that they might not be suitable for kiddies party bags etc.

I will still use them at nursery as it is important to encourage parents to read as well as getting their children to.

Looking forward to getting mine - hope they come soon. I emailed yesterday but haven't had any confirmation yet.
