Thanks Verbatim, getting nervous now. Even if I can get this post and hang in there until February there are changes to maternity services in Glasgow expected and hopefully some posts would be freed up by this. The good thing is that there are several of the posts I am going for available so hopefully I have a chance of securing one. Thanks for the good luck - hope it works!

Thanks ladybez and Verbatim. I'm sure you can hear my knees knocking! If I get this post even with the additional living costs my income will increase and I can make real headway into these debts. Even if it means living away from my lovely husband and DS :(

Its the price to pay for years of gorgeous shoes and frivolous overspending. Living beyond your means (waaay beyond your means!) is not so fun after all!

Can't wait to see what the postman has for me this morning. I feel like I am actually getting somewhere. I remember the day (probably about 29th June) when I wouldn't even open some of the post........

Nothing extra today because I don't know what expenses I am going to incur in London for this interview between today and tomorrow. Therefore I don't want to transfer anything into my F&F pot and leave myself short. I am trying to keep "expenses to a minimum". The person I am staying with (FREE!:j) is a relatives sister in law who offered to put me up, she has offered to collect me from the airport too. Must get a nice box of chocolates to take down. She also said she is off the next day and would take me to my interview and then to the airport (must get wine too, this is saving me £££s). I've taken a book for the wait at the airport but will need to buy a drink or something at the airport I expect, as they won't let me take liquids through security.
