Just typed a massive reply and then it deleted it, so here goes again!
Just worked my way through the barrage of mail and here's the good and bad news so to speak.
Good news - £20 M&S vouchers from Pigsback for Xmas jar:D
£10 John Lewis voucher for Xmas jar.:D
Statement from Next showing my reduced payments, no interest charges and a credit of the interest charged last month after I wrote to them regarding this. New total owed £1142.09. Previously owed £1209 so getting there!:D
Well that is about it in terms of good news (unless you count no news as good news!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Smear test reminder - ouch! Will make an appointment for the next time I am home.:o
Statement from HBOS Visa piling on charges and interest despite the account being in dispute due to no valid CCA. Will complete an FO complaint form online this afternoon as I wrote to them confirming this would be my next course of action as they had provided their "final response" on the matter.;)
Barclaycard statement - as above - no valid CCA and another statement piling on interest and charges despite the account being in dispute also. I've had the paper form to complete from the FO to pursue a complaint against these muppets for weeks and haven't yet gotten around to completing it so thats a job for this afternoon with a cup of tea and a bit of birthday cake.:D
Ooh and Mercers wrote to me to giving a default notice. They haven't received any letters from me yet, will hang off until they send something which warrants a letter penned by my own fine hand;). (Or until the FO gets involved).
Lastly, a letter from AA VISA - apparently a customer relations manager will be contacting me shortly to discuss my concerns relating to "this matter". Can't remember what "this matter" is, so will look back this thread to see what I'm unhappy about:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Account Number 4560 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
ACCOUNT IN DISPUTE SINCE 25th August 2009
Thank you for your letter of 26th September 2009, received 1st October 2009.
I note that you refer to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and your obligation to provide notification that the full minimum monthly payment on the above account has not been made in 2 months.
You will be aware that YOUR obligations under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, require that you supply me with a true copy of the executed credit agreement upon request and payment of the required £1 fee. I paid this fee, and yet you have been unable to provide a copy of said executed agreement. As you have been unable to meet your obligations under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, I have the right to withhold payment until said agreement is produced. My request remains outstanding, as you have been unable to provide a true copy of the EXECUTED agreement, and have attempted to state that you have satisfied your obligations under the Act by providing a reconstituted version of my CURRENT agreement.
You had until 25th August 2009 to provide me with the true copy I requested. After that date you entered into default of my request. Whilst the account is in dispute, you are not permitted to ask for any payment, nor am I obliged to offer any payment to you. Furthermore, whilst the dispute remains, you are not entitled to charge any interest on the account, nor make any further charges to the account. As I have written to you previously to clarify this, you will be aware that this is the reason why payments are currently being withheld.
Additionally, you are not entitled to register any information from this account with any credit reference agencies (or any third party). To register information with a credit reference agency, you must have written consent from the data subject to collate and share such information. This consent is given in the form of a signed credit agreement, so until you produce such an agreement, you may not do this. The requirement for consent to share data is a clear requirement of the Data Protection Act 1998. Any such attempts to share my data without my consent will be met with a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office.
Therefore within 14 days from this letter, I request the following:- You either provide a true copy of the allegedly executed Consumer Credit Agreement, or if you are unable to do that you write to me to confirm that you are unable to produce said agreement.
- You remove any detrimental information regarding this account from all credit reference agencies or third parties, unless you can provide a true copy of the executed consumer credit agreement within 14 days.
- You remove all charges and interest added to this account since the account was put into dispute on 25th August 2009.
Lots of Luv
Mrs G
In the event that you are unable to provide a true copy of the EXECUTED consumer credit agreement in relation to this alleged debt, please confirm this in writing to me.
I would appreciate your due diligence in this matter.
Hmm? Is this what I'm unhappy about, or could it be the claim for charges I submitted for 13 x £12 charges?LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

FAO Tixy - forgot to let everyone know that bed socks are not necessary for London. Thankfully my fixed rent every month includes all bills - because the heating is on all the time and the little room is flipping boiling!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Trying hard to set some targets for myself whilst I'm in London so that I can make better use of my time off. I thought it wouldn't be unreasonable to do one dooyoo review each day or night, and 2 surveys as the invitations are piling up in my inbox!!!!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi Gar
Sorry haven't been around for a while:o. I seem to have lost focus a bit as we aren't really being chased by anyone so it's easy to lose sight.
Back on the ball today though and a few letters need to be fired off as some creditors are stating one thing over the phone and another in a letter:mad:.
I hope all is going well in London and I will read back and catch up, I promise.
Take care and speak soon.

Still giving those creditors what for I see. Not sure they like it much.
Not been around much lately as moving house on Saturday - it's a nightmare - so many boxes and so many millions of things to do. Will try and keep up with your progress.

Thanks df and blue jeans:j,
Missing you both and your witty posts!!!! Good luck with the letters blue, and to you df with the move:D. Hope you enjoy your lovely new home. A house we have had our eye on for 5 years has just gone up for sale at a fixed price £120,000 less than the one next door sold for 2 years ago. Could we afford to move? If its still available after Christmas and we can get rid of some of this debt I would love to go for it.............:rolleyes:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Nothing in the post for us today, other than I've won the award I was nominated for. Would it be rude to hope it came with a big juicy cheque

Morning all - back in London town:o.
NSD yesterday - doubt it will be the same today as I'm planning a bottle of wine and some fish and chips for x-factor as I'm off tomorrow - plan to have a laundry day to keep me amused cheaply:D.
I was expecting to get paid yesterday but nothing:mad:! Must find out when pay day is so that I can juggle my direct debits. Just heading off to work but will pop back when I finish later this afternoon.;)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
