Morning all - it was my birthday yesterday and it was flippin miserable!:o
All day out in clinics and then on call for 5 hours at night. Never mind, travelling home for the weekend. There are no flights left for Friday  and its incredibly expensive to fly home Sunday so I've been very MSE and I've booked the night bus:D. It leaves London Victoria at 22:00 on Friday night and then gets into Glasgow at 0630 Saturday morning. Then I'll need to leave Glasgow 22:00 Sunday night and get into Victoria at 0700 - my clinic starts at 0900 so hoping I'll make it!!!!:o
My big plans for my delayed birthday are as follows:
X Factor
Cuddling up on the sofa with hubby and DS
Bottle of wine
Pizza
M&S Caterpillar birthday cake (bought with survey vouchers of course!!!!)
Sorted!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

A belated happy birthday gargraveSorry it was a bit miserable - hope you have an extra special weekend to make up for it. Sounds like a great night in you have planned except....[STRIKE]Bottle of wine[/STRIKE]

Happy belated birthday from me too
Sounds like a bit of a night bus marathon this weekend, hope it goes okay. Have you thought of checking out the sleeper trains? I've seen a lot of good weekend offers on for going on the east coast - not sure about the west but it might be worth a try...

Happy belated birthday!!!
Yours is the same day as my OH, it was his 21st this year.
He is currently upstairs vomiting due to too much alcohol from his party this evening so I am now on the sofa watching late night tv. I'm sure that now he's 21 he should be able to enjoy parties without getting hammered but maybe that's just me.....
Your bus journey sounds fun! By my calculations you'll be somewhere in northern england now. Hope you have a brilliant belated birthday and even more sincerely hope it doesn't end like OH's party has tonight!!!
Glad to see the new job going well. Hope there isn't too much post waiting for you but am sure with the strike that there won't be. Although then we'll all get loads all of a sudden!
Sorry for the late post (or really early depending on how you look at it!)

Thanks all for the birthday wishes - yes my birthday weekend was much much better:D. I got some perfume and some framed photos of hubby and DS to brighten up my room in London.
Had a nice bottle of wine and a chinese last night and watched x-factor. Then cuddled up in bed with DS and Hubby to read some Mr Men books:j. Just had my breakfast and going to get organised and packed so that I can enjoy the rest of the day without running around. Flying back Tuesday night after clinic and thats me here until Friday morning. I get to take DS to school and then run to the airport to make my flight so I can start at 1300!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning all:j
Back in London for a shift yesterday and today, then I fly home again tonight after clinic. Who thought London would be great for MSE - but it is! I don't spend a penny here:D. I order my groceries online (getting only what I need), and my entertainment is sleep and TV!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: My oyster card has plenty of credit on it, so it will be costing me £1 on the bus to get to Heathrow tonight.
Can't wait to see all the post (or what the postal strike didn't get!!!);)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
