So pleased that things are turning out just as you had hoped, good news about the new position.

Wonderful that Cole loved his school, having a happy child at school is more than half the battle!! Looking forward to reading more.

Had a really busy week and then a lovely few days off. Have been collecting lots of furniture on Gumtree, and have now kitted out 2 bedrooms, 2 lounges, and a kitchen for around $2000. Sounds like a lot of money but its pretty good value considering prices here!

Went to a liquidation sale room today to pick up some lovely new nic naks for around the house and spent the money my work gave me getting some nice bits and pieces. A nice easy week at work this week, 2 study days Monday and Tuesday then a 12 hour day on Wednesday. After that, that's me until next Wednesday night when I start my nights :D.

We were taken out for dinner by friends last night down to the waterfront in South Perth and had a lovely meal and a couple of glasses of wine sitting outside an old style Italian restaurant looking across the water to Perth Central Business District all lit up and looking beautiful.

I truly love Australia. Thanks to you all for hauling my !!! every inch of the way to a position where I could get us here ;).

Its a pleasure, just keep up the frugal ways now you are in the land of sunshine. I see the Gumtree seems to be getting a good shaking well done on all the furniture buys. Hope to hear you are moving into your own home soon. Pictures will be required!!

Sorry its been so long in between updates, I'm just snowed under. So much to do! Still being very frugal ;). Old habits die hard and all that :D.

Hopefully Alan will have his job confirmed this week, there is a company who sound like they will take him on as a Trade Assistant then when he does his A Grade will "upgrade" him to an A Grade Sparkie. Fingers, knees and all other thingamyjigs crossed :D.

Love to you all - will try to pop back soon xx

G'day! How's things? Hope you're still loving it and that Alan's job's confirmed. When does he get to upgrade? Is there a waiting time?

    Is Cole still loving school?

How's the new house planning going?

Your eager followers need to know these things! ;)

Funny you should ask GB as when I was doing my 4 month diary update the other day, I thought about G and wondered how things were going with her as we hadn't heard anything for ages.

Also watched Homes in the sun the other night, couple moving to Canada, and again that made me wonder.

So come on Mrs, provide us with an update. I'm sure all is going very well and you will come back and make us all green with envy.
