Hi all!
Sorry K no spiders to be seen, of which I'm very pleased about!:j:j
Just somehow managed to get constant nightshifts which almost solves our childcare problem.:o
My shift allowance for nights is 35% on top except weekend nights when Saturdays is 50% on top of my basic hourly rate, and 75% on Sundays. I'm down to do Saturday & Sunday one weekend, Friday night another weekend (which means I get Saturday money from midnight), the next weekend off, and Saturday night the next weekend (I get Sunday money from midnight
).
All going well, plus have been asked to apply for the next nightshift ANF Level 2 post which is due to come up, which would hike my salary up $20,000 +. Seems to all be going well. Since they let me loose on the patients, I've been much happier!:D
Anyway all going well, Cole loves school and says its the best school in the world.:j:j Just need to get Alan working - his tools arrived today. He has done a health and safety card thingey online (necessary to work on a building site over here), and just waiting for that to come through. Then he can do agency as a Trades Assistant (labourer to you and I!) @ $30-35/hr not bad. His Grade A course for his Electrical License is full until end September, so hoping once his paperwork gets done he can apply to get onto that course, then we should be sorted.
Busy busy!! Bought a few bits of furniture from Gumtree, so gradually building a home. Can't wait until Thursday night when I finish for the weekend!!!!:j:j:j:j:j

Aww toots thats fantastic your new life sounds immense.
You love a bit shift allowance! and thats a great shift allowance.
Am really pleased its going well. xxTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Tis all sounding good Julie.
They obviously like you at work and know quality when they see it. Given that I would just ask lots of questions about procedure. Some of us (2 weeks into new job after 27 months unemployed/studenting) are in exactly the same position. I've made a gannt chart and a flow diagram to help me.
Somehow I don't think you need the flow diagram - it should all be starting at the top and dropping out of the bottom!
