Morning blue, (or afternoon - evening? Nightshift makes me bonkers:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Work was fine finished at 8.15am and was awoken at 11.10am with the thud of letters hitting the doormat.

Will post in a minute re: what gifts he came bearing.

Yes, its raining here also - but then this is Glasgow - it always rains here:D

How is your debt busting going today - what little gems did you get?

  • Always rains here too:mad:. Dried up a bit so going to take the kids out my head is so full of 'to dos' I think it's going to explode.

Nowt much in post today - Halifax cancelled our insurance waiting for a call back from them. Not sure why but I hope its nothing to do with defaults on the other accounts. Sh1tting myself incase this will affect the mortgage we have with them.

    How's C's eye?

I think his eye is getting better - it was yesterday but I didn't see him this morning - went straight to bed :D

Enjoy your walk with the kids - forget about the to do list until you have them sorted.

That's terrible about Halifax - what kind of insurance. Could it be a d/d that has been bounced 3 times - this can cancel the d/d instruction if over a certain period, and this may have led to them cancelling the policy? Could be on the wrong track here tho?!

It's home insurance and it is fully paid up with no missed payments:confused:.
They credited my account with £70 odd quid today as well which confuses me even more:confused:.

Do you think the mortgage will continue to run ok with them?

Your mortgage is a secured lending agreement and as far as I am aware the conduct of "other accounts" should have no bearing on this. Let me know what the experts say to your thread:)

One small ramble before I have my dinner / breakfast?! (Weird this nightshift lark:confused:)

Just had a phone call from Littlewoods despite me asking them for all correspondence in writing and implicitly requesting not to discuss matters by telephone.

Asked me to confirm security - I said no thank you and explained that I choose not to discuss the matter by telephone. Explained I am entitled to request communication in any format I see fit. Natalie from Littlewoods tells me they will only discuss by telephone, and will simply send out a letter asking me to contact them by telephone.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

She also added the little nugget that they will be charging me for this letter - think I might share that with the Chief Exec................:D

Explained that it would be very nice of them to send me out that letter but useless, and that I will continue to respond in writing asking them to contact me in writing.

Around the merry go round one more time..............

Hi gargrave. Just popping in to say hi. Littlewoods sound like they are really on the ball! You sound like you are right to say about being on a merry go round - it must be frsutrating when you want to sort it out - but at least things are going in your favour - you want to sort it out and they are being a pain - more bargaining power - especially if you need to get the ombudsman involved - keep chipping away at them all.
Oh and a massive congratulations on the job. You are doing brilliantly.
