Massive debts

Phoned the guy at the letting agent from the last London house today, I had a rather menacing tone and got my point across. I'm assured the balance due will be with me within ten working days. The amount being disputed will be sent out once agreed with the property owner.
Not the best outcome, but hopefully it will be sorted before I leave. I've threatened that if I don't have it by one week on Wednesday, I'll be appearing in his office and expecting it in cash. He doesn't know I won't be in London.

Nice to see you again.
It wouldn't be unusual but I don't get the suitcase comment? Never mind xx
Hi again. I don't often post but do keep up. Sorry to be a (mostly) lurker.
The suitcase comment...

Hi NTO,
No, I did think about that. I've phoned the bank office at the hospital and they haven't received my time sheets hence no payment. Our Labour Ward Manager is just post chemotherapy and is a bit out of sorts, so I'm pretty sure she is just late with them. I will check with her on Monday.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Verbatim,
I get it now.
No, there are plenty of hiding places in an NHS hospital! One of the SHOs are going to hide it in their on call room. Even my friends are accomplices!

I am now a victim of the Natwest / RBS glitch.
Somehow in the last couple of hours they have taken away my husband's weekly salary payment, despite the fact it was there all of yesterday. I don't mind, as long as they give it back.

Hi. Just want to pop in, having read your entire thread, to say thank you for being such an inspiration. We had our lightbulb moment last weekend whilst I was reading through your diary, realised that pretty soon our CCs minimum payments aren't going to get paid because we'll run out of overdraft to cover them!
This weekend we've sat down and gathered all our CC statements together, read lots of MSE threads about DMPs and are planning on getting our current spending and proposed budget down on paper to prep for talking to CCCS and doing their online review thing. Although we intend to manage our own DMP, we figure it can't hurt to get help with the groundwork, and can then claim to at least have sought advice from them (thinking of those on yours who insisted they would only deal with 3rd party).
Thanks again for the kick up the a**e that we needed to get going. I'm still enjoying your story, even though it's more about your new life in Aus. It's the 'reward' for getting it sorted, and we're aiming for similar in Canada, but with no clear date yet till we get things sorted. I hope you'll continue your diary when you get there.0 -

I'm always incredibly flattered when someone takes the time to read this entire thread! It started just to act as a bit of motivation, then it grew arms and legs and here it is!
Yeah, sorry the thread is now more focussed on my Oz plans. Strictly speaking I still have debts to sort, but they are all long ongoing stories which aren't changing much, which is probably why I stopped talking about them. I keep challenging the CCA, they keep sending me application forms that don't comply:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
I am definately going to keep the diary going from Oz. We are intent on living debt free in Oz, so it probably won't be very debt focussed. I am carrying on paying off our current outstanding debts from Oz - only problem is I won't be able to get the post so will be going for it blind:cool:.
Never mind, its probably more fun that way:p.
Thanks again for reading, congratulations on your lightbulb moment. If I can be of ANY help at all, please don't hesitate to drop me a PM or just post on here xxLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Starting my own diary on here shortly. I'll post a note of what it's called when I get it uploaded.
BTW I'm a long time MSE lurker, but starting a new forum ID for anonymity during our debt-free journey due to potential work issues.0
