Thanks Aamberle:)
Have just finished hubby's CV and done the majority of hubby's ARTC application, which we can't send off until our Visa has been approved which should be in the next couple of weeks.
After that I think I've broken the back of the Oz side of things, can't be too much more to do. Can you imagine if after all this, my Visa wasn't approved for some reason:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Going to have a look for hubby's apprenticeship certificate which I seem to have mysteriously mislaid in a flurry of tidying up:eek:.
Then will try to list a couple of items on ebay:). Maybe I should buy a couple of things first as my feedback is currently zero?LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Not my most prolific day, but have managed to get some big jobs out of the way.
Have completed most of Alan's ARTC form which was a chunky job in itself! Can't send it just yet for 2 reasons - 1. I need to pay $300 at time of application and 2. they check your Visa status and mine hasn't yet been confirmed but should be done in the next couple of weeks.
Furthermore hubby's CV was finally done, and has been sent to the contact in Australia who might have him a job:eek:. Also, he wants to hand it round to a guy who lives close by who works for himself and might be able to give some work his way before we go:o.
Have emailed cash4clothes to arrange a pick up for Wednesday or Thursday this week, as hubby will have the car most of the week for work (is working casual this week). Also had a mooch around the lounge collecting prospective car boot sale goodies.
Other than that planning on listing some ebay and might chance my arm with facebook marketplace tomorrow:eek:. Should really be listing the ebay today as its free listing for anything listed auction format over £1 starting price, but to be honest I can't be @rsed. Not very money saving, but laziness rules today. Will definately be more fired up tomorrow.
Tomorrow have to return son's hired kilt and will get back a £25 deposit. Also, the storage company are sending us a cheque for £29 as our unit is now empty:D.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning all
Horrid day here in not so sunny Glasgow.
My plans for the week are many, but mostly planning to try to recoup hubby's wages which are around £425 a week:eek:.
Now, if the £29 cheque comes through from the storage company, and hubby gets the owed £110 from work done last week for a friend we will be getting somewhere. He is working today for £80, and hopefully tomorrow for the same. I will return DS kilt from the Communion to the hire shop today and get my £25 deposit back. That takes us £164+£160 (based on today and tomorrow working casual). That's a grand total of £324. Hoping for £25 from the cash for clothes shop which would take it to £349. If hubby manages to get another one or two days work this week casual, we could be looking at another £80-160 potentially making a total of £429-£509 for the week:j:j:j:j.
Also, hubby's CV is now done (several domestics later). It has been sent to Oz, and I have printed a copy off for Alan to drop in to the guy round the corner. Apparently his ex boss (the pr!ck who just paid him off) caught up with him round at school and said he might be able to restart him soon if they get some contracts they have bid for.
Hoping against hope that from either his ex-boss, the guy round the corner or the other job which is in the pipeline, that we might just have to cobble things together for a couple of weeks. Well having read it several times over, I think it might be a receipt for the payment the WA Health Trust have paid for my VISA application. It gives me a transaction reference number, and talks about me needing a medical examination etc. Then asks for me to add this to my application. I've already sent all the bits and bobs inc the application form to WA Health, so I think now they just add the transaction reference number and send it in. Hopefully not long now! I've emailed it to my 2 contacts at WA Health and ask them if this requires action from me or them.
I think this is good news! Woohoo I'm 50% an Aussie I think:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Right, off to watch the end of Jeremy Kyle, then get ready to return the kilt.
Planning to use the few pounds in my purse to buy some veg to make homemade soup for dinner (mmm), and buy a value pack of paper cos I feel some letters coming on;). DS not very fond of my soup (imagine), so I'm making him a cheeseburger with some homemade chips instead. Might pick up some mince so I can use the last of the potatoes and carrots to do a cottage pie for tomorrow.:money:
Just checked my nice emptyish purse and I have a total of £3.71 in it. Only just enough for the bus fare as Alan has the car today. My solution is that our change jar is fairly full. I can do one of two things. I can take my change jar to Tesco and put it in the coinsaver machine, then use the voucher to get the little food shopping I need. Or I could get the bus down to the bank and use their change machine to pay it into my account then use my card to pay for the shopping. Decisions, decisions.
Yeah its a pain to go all the way down to the bank, waiting on yet another bus, but if the voucher comes to more than I need then I will spend more in Tesco than need be. And yes, I'm that tight.:D
Then, back to the house to start sorting out cash 4 clothes bags. Who says my life isn't all glamour?LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
