Hi hun,
Wish I did have a night of ebay and surveys - but no instead I had an absolutely beyond mental shift on labour ward - bank of course. Delivered 4 babies and scrubbed in theatre for 2 emergency sections. Busy is not the word. Just finished writing the notes from all my deliveries
.
Home to bed now - just transferred £30.89 to my bank from paypal (only 2 items paid so far), another £100+ waiting to be paid, and a further 10 items still going finishing tonight.
Having half price Tattinger champagne from Tesco offer tonight and watching Bridesmaids with the 2 girls:D. Early to bed as back on long days tomorrow - Sunday money.

Hello,
I'm new to this MSE forum and I just had to say that after reading your diary I'm so impressed in how you have managed to tackle your debts. Really inspiring stuff. I'm also a midwife and I know very well just how stressful our jobs can be. I don't know how you manage to firstly work all those hours and live way from your husband and son for such long periods of time. Hats off to you babe! xxLBM 14th Oct 2011 TOTAL DEBT £8500  £8500/£8500 (100%) paid)

Thanks ladies for your lovely words............and you too skint:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry I haven't posted recently, I've been really busy. Have £130+ sitting in paypal to transfer to my bank, but keeping it there at the moment cos things are good, it can be my "stash"!
Just checked the bank account £1.9k in the black, with hubby's pay tomorrow and mine a week today. Just finished a bank nightshift on labour ward - altogether perfectly civilised. Looked after 2 high risk postnatals, delivered a baby and scrubbed for a section then relieved for breaks in triage and for the co-ordinator.
No bank shift available tonight, so I am going to celebrate my first ever night off since I came to London by going to Nandos with the girls (20% off of course), and using the Zizzi deal from o2 priority moments for free prosecco and dough sticks with any order - we will order a little sharing platter late afternoon as we are not going to Nandos til 8.30 when the other girls finish work.
Nothing much to report on the post until I get home on Monday - its no use asking hubby what came, half the time he doesn't even open it:o. Waiting on a response from wescot which satisfies the terms of my full and final offer then will make it in 12 weekly payments as agreed. After that will recalculate my totals. Oooh exciting.
Will make Next Directory a F&F after that - have been paying them £6 a month for almost 2 years!!!
Life is good, and the debts are coming down. Oh and all is Oz bound - got my contract through via email - starting salary $61,057 - near the top of my band:T.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
