Well just a quick update - have managed to book 2 x bank nightshifts ~ £180 each. That's for tonight and tomorrow night. One more booked for next week so just one more gap to fill. Hoping something comes up nightshift for 17th November then we is rockin ;).

Have a nice cheap night in with the girls booked Saturday night - watching Bridesmaids (don't ask how we got the DVD :D), doing wholemeal pasta with pesto and chicken and drinking gin. What could possibly go wrong?!!!:o

Received £381.79 today which is payment for 2 bank shifts from 2 weeks ago. One x Long Day and One x Nightshift. Kerching:j:j.

Must order more postage bags from Ebay before the items end at the weekend aargh!!!

Still no word from Wescot (as far as hubby has told me), and we received a £1 cheque from Santander today for closing a savings account we didn't know that had kindly opened for us!! Still waiting to hear re: my complaint with FOS re: Santander. I've received their acknowledgement saying they are waiting on a response from Santander. This is for the grand total of £25 - but I'm moralistic (honestly!), and like a good fight apart from anything else:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Quite a busy nightshift tonight, lots to organise. Planning on emailing Oz as I emailed them re: my starting salary and haven't heard back. Can't let them forget about me.............

  • Eeh thats a good little sum of cash.

I have 82 pounds in my current account... everything is being squirrelled for a car at the moment. Glad you got your banks filled and that you are having a nice night in on Saturday!

Taken Martin's advice and did the Tesco Car Insurance quote and earned myself 300 free clubcard points - convert that to Pizza Express vouchers = £12 ;).

My Manager was wittering on something about me being able to claim back one year's income tax when I leave for Oz?! Will plug her for information on Monday and report back. Wouldn't that be nice? Imagine the Inland Revenue paying me to p!ss off to the sun:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Also waiting up to go on the De Vere site for their flash sale at 10am - 100,000 room for £22. Would make a lovely Christmas pressie for my brother in law and his girlfriend. His cheap brother and sister in law could be made to look ultra generous ;).
